I don’t think you’re very familiar with acting if you believe her acting is impressive. Anyway, I respect your opinion and I expect you to respect mine as well. Let’s just agree to disagree, because clearly you can’t prove me wrong and I don’t think I can convince a Lusi fan about her weaknesses.
In my opinion, she gets more praise than she deserves. I don’t think her acting is particularly strong, and it sometimes feels like her popularity plays a bigger role in her success than her actual talent. I rated three of her dramas very low, but that doesn’t mean I think all of them are bad. For example, I enjoyed **The Story of Pearl Girl** and **Who Rules the World**, so I didn’t give those a low score.
When I rate dramas, I’m just being honest about my personal experience. If I don’t enjoy the acting or the storyline, I rate it low. If I really like it, I rate it high. That’s simply how I judge things. To be fair, I don’t think those dramas deserved a score as low as 1 — maybe around a 6 would have been more reasonable. However, I do think some of the ratings were unrealistically high. It seems like some fans will automatically give high scores just because their favourite actress is in it, regardless of the actual quality.
I don’t think it’s fair when certain dramas get an advantage because of a celebrity’s popularity, while other high-quality dramas receive lower ratings just because they don’t feature a well-known or trendy actor. That said, I’m not saying every actor with a large fanbase lacks talent. For example, **Bai Lu** has a huge fanbase, but she is clearly very skilled at acting, so her success feels well deserved. In fact, I personally think she is underrated.
If someone disagrees with me, I would genuinely like to understand why Hidden Love became so popular. In many scenes, I felt the main actress only showed a limited range of expressions, and it was obvious she was acting. As viewers, we shouldn’t be constantly aware that someone is performing it should feel natural. Also, the storyline of Hidden Love is not very original. We have seen similar plots many times before, yet somehow this version is the only one that became extremely popular. Personally, I found the drama quite boring, and I struggle to see why it received so much praise.
no offence but you shouldnt be the one talking about annoying baby pouting when u gave speed and love a 10 lol.Her pouting is not even half as cringe as the fl in speed and love.
I dropped speed and love because I didn’t like the female character (even though I do think Esther is talented,…
Sorry if i seemed a bit rude earlier i just found it a shame that u are not watching other bailu's dramas just because u didnt like Bailu's acting on one drama.Bailu is portraying her character maybe she will be portraying her character differently for a different character in a other drama.Just like you didnt like esther yu in speed and love but u liked her in other dramas.Obviously thats your choice to consider it or not Im just suggesting it to be honest if my first bailu's drama was moonlight mystique I would think bailu acts the same in other dramas aswell since the character bai shou is bland so i dont blame u.Also i dont hate esther yu or zhao lusi I still watch their drama just not my fav.
Rare to find someone not liking this drama like me. Even 7 was generous from me keeping in mind that I did not…
Because she is the main character the story is centered around her what do u expect lol.Ao Rui Peng is the male lead not the main character.I thought everyone knew this.Im glad the story is the way it is since I dont watch dramas for handsome boys to fangirl over instead l watch it for the plot that actually make sense(and to see queen bailu on my screen hehe).
Have u watched Story of the kunning palace, till the end of the moon and one and only and lot more because if u have u wouldn't be saying this in terms of acting, bailu is much better.like Are u saying speed and love and hidded love's forced cuteness acting is better than moonlight mystique acting lol if u are ive lost all respect for u i agree Moonlight mystique is not her best performance but it definitely beat the other 2.
