Basically, the author (and apparently the fandom) of the original novel is extremely problematic and disrespectful. So the thought was that, by doing an adaptation of said novel, it would bring hate to the Thai actors, so gmm canceled it. You can look it up even in this comments, or in Twitter and all that, for the complete reasons why the author is problematic, cuz I don't remember it right now lol

I completely understand why it was canceled, and I agree that it was the best decision, but it still feels bittersweet, because of the pairings in it... So sad

Rashta is literally one of the worst (as in evil and messed up) webtoon characters I've ever read, and I hope they keep her that way. So brace yourself, there's a reason why she's called "trashta"

If you haven't read the novel nor the webtoon, then you shouldn't say anything. Heinrey is literally almost 10 years younger than Navier. He's SUPPOSED to look and act young, because he is!!!
That's one of the most interesting points of the character, how he's young but still has a big presence and is cunning with everyone but Navier.

Does someone know why this drama is dubbed? Like, I'm watching it with the original audio! It's annoying me a little bit... Is that common in Chinese BLs? I've only watched a few Chinese straight dramas, and I'm pretty much sure they weren't dubbed lol

Low? Right now it is 8.5, that's a GREAT rating for a BL. Some people usually downvote BLs just because they're BLs, without even having watched it. I don't think I've even seen one with 9.0 or higher...

Oh, idols do that A LOT. It is a fashion thing for them. But in a show, I always assume is cause of production lol

That's just how most survival show groups work. Except for shows made by a certain company (like Belift with I-LAND = ENHYPEN, or JYP with Stray Kids) using their own trainees, these shows made by TV channels like Mnet or KBS accept trainees from different companies. Usually companies will send their trainees to these shows to promote them, and then after the group disbands, they go and redebut them in permanent groups. That's what happened with iz*one, for example. Crazy popular, and look at IVE or le sserafim, for example. Both debuted being popular since they have previous izone members. Kep1er was the first survival show group to renew their contracts I think. Still, Mashiro and Yeseo were unable to continue in the group since their company, 143 Entertainment, wanted to debut them in their own group, MADEIN. So yeah, it's upsetting to the fans, but most of us know that stanning a group that came from a survival show usually means seeing they disband really soon.

ZB1 is a temporary group. They came from Boys Planet 999. There's a possibility they could renew, like Kep1er did, but most Produce/survival show groups get only a 2/2.5 years contracts. They're almost 2 years in, their contract being 2y and 6 months, ending January 2026. It's sad, honestly...

Highly unlike it will happen. ZB1 has big chances of renewing their contracts (I hope they do!!), so either Jiwoong won't be allowed to do another BL, or only after they renew (or unfortunately disband) that they'll allow him to do it.
ZB1 and Jiwoong themselves are infamous for being fruity, so if you want to keep hoping, you could hang into that, but personally I don't think it's happening...

YES!!!! Thank you so much!!!! These people just want to always see the same thing, they think everyone should act and behave the same. Arc wasn't a bad character at all, he's a person with flaws and qualities. I genuinely can't imagine these people who make this comments having real life friends, since they seem to think everyone should be perfect and act exactly according to the way THEY think is best, and more appropriate.
Sure, it's a fictional character, but that doesn't take the fact that, in it's universe, he's a real person. It would be SO BORING if every single character behave the same, so perfect and polite and good at communicating and bla bla bla.
Arc was much better and mature than Arm, he always made very clear his interest and intentions, and he always asked for consent. But Arm wasn't bad either, he was hurten, and he's younger and more immature, that's why it took him longer to come to terms with his feelings.
Honestly, MLD comments and reviews always piss me off.
