I agree with everything you said, and it's present in almost every drama. Though I have to defend Coffee Prince. I don't condone violence of any kind, but the presence of violence in asian dramas is not the actual problem, the way it's normalized is. When someone gets forcefully kissed or dragged, these scenes are romanticized either by the background music or what happens after, and not given any importance and are not addressed again. In coffee prince that regretful scene was not romanticized or downplayed in any way and that's why it's actually a very frightening scene, because it's meant to be.
