I just watched Gong Jun’s letter to Wen Ke Xing and I cried a river. You need to watch the video with the narration. It is so emotional and showed how well he understood WKX. It’s no wonder he perfected Lao Wen. It took me the longest time to complete the 2 min video as I could not stop crying.
edits, twitter, pictures, fan made comics, interviews, and watch your life be fully consumed by Word of Honor.
It’s contagious..hahaha.. WOH has completely taken over my life.. 1. subscribe to Youku just to watch it with subs. 2. Check Twitter, Instagram 3. Watch interview And Doing items 2 and 3 more than 4-5 times a day.. OMG Literally charging my phone and iPad so frequently I will have an extremely bad withdrawal symptom after this
I am thoroughly enjoying WOH. Never in my life have I been so addicted to a drama. I have never read the novel and watching this with no clue of what was adapted and what was not. Therefore, I cannot comment if it was close to the original novel. It has been a solid ride with beautiful costumes, great fighting choreography scenes and most of all the amazing leads. I just love how their story unfolds. Both were looking for HOPE and LIGHT. WKX, who never saw hope and always lived in hatred. Only goal is to avenge his parents death. ZZS saw all his shidis fall one by one.. truly jaded and punished himself with 7 nails decided to enjoy his last 3 years of his life living as a recluse. It was WKX who reached out (flirted his way through) first in the 1st part of the series but the moment ZZS made his decision to accept him for who he is in ep12, there was no turning back. I just loved how ZZS embraced him and envelope him in his love and gently making him see his wrongdoings WKX on the other hand was afraid to claim what was his and the more love that ZZS gives, the more he is conflicted as seen numerous times.. the guilt of causing the lives of the innocent like the 4 sages of Aji. He felt unworthy. He runs away from it and cannot deal with it. The only thing that he wants to protect re the people who are dear to him like Ah Xiang, CL and of course his soulmate who is his light.
Why did he fake his death or the question is why did he not let ZZS know about his plan?.. I can only interpret it is my Ah Xu has to be protected at all cost. He must not come not come to any harm .. his light cannot. be distinguished .. sigh.. all drama has its noble idiocy. This is the difference between him and ZZS. The maturity level of loving a person and reading emotions by Ah Xu vs WKX ‘s way of showing his love... his need to physically have this person. I don’t fault him .. it’s his character as a result the traumatic childhood experience in ghost valley. It will take time.
OR is it in his great plan to help heal ZZS as the nails need to come off before the meridians can be fixed.
I guess I will never know until we find out on Tuesday. I will enjoy this till the end
I am just watching clips and not the full episodes but akreafy affictef
Lets try again!..this is what happens when a drama is soooo good. Haha.. am just watching clips and not the full episodes.. already addicted to it. This is a full package: 1.beautifully choreographed fighting scenes 2. Simple but yet beautiful costume designs that brings out each character 3. Absolutely fanstastic interactions between the 2 handsome leads. Cant take my eyes off them 4. Drama is fast paced but yet easy to follow. (I have not read the novel)
I am waiting in anticipation for more surprises. Have not loved a wuxia piece as much as this. AND i need to repeat this again.. Gong Jun is just perfect as WKX. He brought the character to life. He is just oozing ethereal beauty from all angles I just wondered how he managed to memorize all hus scripts.. they are so long and poetic ZZH is really made for wuxia series and so handsome here.. i loved his eye rolling moments when he us being stalked by WKX
Seriously! The moment I set eyes on his WKX, I kid you not, I was blinded by his aura O_O like the boundary of…
100% in agreement. I had to suck in my breath each time he appears on screen and cannot stop smiling or grinning from ear to ear.. I am soooooo glad that the show miraculously passed the censorship. Not sure how Youku did it.. hahaha.. the censorship would have completely destroyed the character of WKX. .he is so bold and adorably shameless in every scene.
I am trying very to wait for the entire drana to complete before watching but the snippets in twitter is slowly but surely destroying my will power. My god.. Gong Jun as WKX is absolutely the best!.he literally nailed the role. Flirtatious, handsome or should i say gorgeous!!!.. one moment he is charming and even childish nd the next we are served the angry snd evil look!!..just WOW!!!
This drama should be called One Inch of Yearning . Completed this series in 1 week. This has to be one of my favourite wuxia drama. The casts are young but they pull off their characters so well. I dd not find it draggy at all and I couldn’t help comparing the 2 characters Zou Xing Chi and Zhu Yan. Both sought for revenge but the route which they took are so different. One was willing to sacrifice himself for justice and love. The other “sold” his soul for power to seek the revenge. Gala Zhang did really well here. I liked him in the Best of You in Mind and I never expected him to carry such a sad role. His crying was on point and I literally bawled my eyes out in the 2nd half of the drama. One of my favourite scenes was when ZXC had to make the decision whether to save or sacrifice his dad for the bigger picture. The struggle was real and Gala really portrayed those emotions. I would recommend this drama to anyone who lives wuxia. However be prepared for quite a bit of scenes which were cut ( which was a shame) and tissue papers
Thought I would check this one out after Le Coup de Fourdre as I loved that drama very very much. To my big big surprise I fell in love with just the first episode and binged a total of 6 thereafter in 1 day. The story line is so good. Loved the heartwarming story and watching their characters developed. I had to stop myself from continuing as I really want all episodes to be out before watching again. Kudos to the casts. Literally fell for Wang An Yu. He has a mixture of rebel but yet kind and gentle features. Acting is +++++++
