Okay I'm watching episode 4 and I'm getting really annoyed at the germaphobe male lead for being a fly in the ointment as the female lead is trying to engage with that other hunky male lead that she really likes π
No, they were NOT and before you say that BigHit or HYBE confirmed it, no they did not. When they do release a statement they do it through Weverse. Gossip sites making up stories by saying the company released a statement is not the same as them actually doing it.
We clearly don't agree about this so there's no need to keep posting or trying to cause an argument. Move along.
I've appreciated Kim Woo Bin in a lot of his other roles but I have never really swooned over him before.
I have to say that with this particular role and especially with his character having that longer hair, I am swooning BIG TIME!
I enjoyed his portrayal because it felt real. The way his character looked looked at Kim Ga Yeong with such sadness especially in episode 11 really tugged at my heartstrings too...
OMG....Lee Je Hoon and the eggs π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£ I am deceased. I can't stop laughing. In fact, I'm crying. Well, if you want your weekly sodium intake in one shot then you gotta try those eggs πππππ
I love watching Pyo Ye Jin in the Taxi Driver series. She has so much chemistry with Lee Jee Hoon. I'm trying to watch her other projects whenever I can. She was great in Moon in the Day π
Now, I don't care what anyone says about her character here on VIP, I wanted her to have a happy ending. I didn't like the character of Jung Sun. I guess I didn't like her character bitterly trying to hold on to somebody that was clearly not emotionally attached to her anymore. Mr. Park couldn't even tell Jung Sun about his father, so that kind of reaffirms the lack of trust in their relationship from the very beginning, way before Yu Ri entered the picture so quit scapegoating her. He obviously felt a kinship and commonality with Yu Ri. They should have been allowed to be together in the end but that's just my opinion and you're all free to have your own so don't bother trying to convince me otherwise π
Ran here to check for comments like this. Rewatched that scene 10+ and I'm like yeah I'm glad I never missed a…
I watched Season 1 over on Viki quite a while ago. It was one of the shows I really wanted to watch and one of the reasons why I subscribed to the channel about a year ago and so I was just about to upgrade my yearly membership to the PLUS level as it was coming due in a few weeks.
For some reason Season 1 of Taxi Driver was viewable on the Viki Pass level which I'm on but Season 2 was on the Viki PLUS level so imagine my horror when Viki went ahead and changed the restriction code so now neither the 1st season nor the 2nd season is available to view in my country (Canada). It's a darn good thing I didn't bump up my membership just to watch it and a few other OR heads would have rolled.π
Needless to say, I was madder than a hatter when I saw them being removed. Luckily, I was able to watch Season 2 on another platform but I had to watch it dubbed in Thai but it at least had English subtitles and then one episode lost the subtitles half way through. I persevered through it though π₯°
I can't figure out why Viki, has Season 3 of Taxi Driver on the regular level but they got rid of the first 2 seasons??? WTH?
I noticed that Netflix is getting a whole whack of shows that are on Viki so I am wondering if maybe Taxi Driver will show up there?
Lots of frustrated people leaving reviews under the Season 3 area asking what happened to the first two seasons. I'd love to know the brainiac who made that decision....sigh
It was a struggle to watch this. I think the actor who played Phraphai should have been one of the leading male heroes instead of playing the bad guy. Zip for chemistry between the two male leads. π³ The good thing is that it was only eight episodes π
I absolutely loved how Kim Do Gi reacted in a panic when the signal dropped and they lost sight of Go Eun after she entered that room. He was frantic. One could argue that he would have rushed in there to save any female BUT this was Go Eun. There is definitely something there between them that the writers better hurry up and flesh out this season. I am tired of waiting for them to let their guards down and give in to their feelings for one another β€οΈ
I love these little surprises. So, I was just about finished watching episode 6 when the scenery suddenly began looking awfully familiar. It's like WAIT A MINUTE....
The taxi being driven by the new employee, On Ha Jun was driving up to what looked to be some kind of mansion and I swear I did a double take because I thought to myself, that looks EXACTLY like the same backdrop where we see Jung Kook driving that cream coloured car (I think it's a Mercedes but don't quote me) up to some mansion entrance-way in his 3D video Performance video. Check this out at the beginning of the video:
I'm sorry but I don't believe the two male leads have any chemistry together. I think Film Jirayu Angvanich should have at least been one of the male leads. I don't find Poon Akkharaphat appealing ar all. Hey, we're all entitled to our own opinions right? π The casting is off...

The only thing I'm disappointed at is the fact that I was hoping that this would at least be a series and not simply a movie.

If you look at the 1:15 marker you'll see it's the SAME mansion/resort that Jung Kook arrived to....

I love it when you can recognize things...
