Now that the truth is out and they know they've been lied to, have any of these people (who were so quick to believe the worst about him) stopped supporting that awful channel OR are they still going there and freely eating the sh*t being fed to them? 🙄

Well, this was not at all what I was expecting 😭😭😭😭I think I thought it would be more in the realm of a BL drama (a very tame one considering that Ok Taecyeon was starring in it) but I wouldn't even really categorize it like that. You know the connection was there but they didn't act on it.
I'm just really sad after watching this show 😭😭😭 and let us not forget that it was really sad when Kanau's dad died so I was hoping that it would be the only sad thing about the show. 🥺
The one interesting thing I noticed was that the Japanese ML could almost pass as Shohei Ohtani or at the very least his brother 😮
Ok Taecyeon is an incredible actor. To me, his performance in Soul Mate deserves an acting nomination. I'm not sure of the specific award show names etc.. in Asia but I would be surprised if he wasn't nominated for something....
I know it's been reported that BWS and Gong Seung Yeon have been best friends for almost a decade and I believe they are both represented by the same company so they're often seen together at functions/award shows etc.. but wouldn't it be the ultimate way to hide that they're actually dating and have been in a committed relationship all of this time and they did it being right out in the open, so to speak?
Their final scene together when they were outside talking by her car was lovely and I don't know maybe it's just me but I saw a spark the way they looked at each other ❤️
I wish they would make season 3 of this show. I was hoping to see Detective Jin and Officer Song's relationship develop. The way he looked at her was so endearing. I want more 😭
I came to watch this because of Gong Seung Yeon. I especially loved her in My Only Love Song, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, Perfect Crown etc...
So far I'm liking the storylines. I'm glad I decided to give this drama a watch!
I think the PM was getting the goods on the QM's father. They were setting that rat up.
I think when the PM put down the prayer beads, it was kind of a red herring. It makes the viewer suspect or think he's evil. I still don't think that though.
I think he put the beads down because he was about to knowingly engage in something that might either bend the rules a bit while trying to catch the QM's father for his misdeeds OR what he's going to do might be a bit sketchy although not illegal and it could affect his reputation. He ultimately wants good vs bad to prevail.
Min Jeong Woo's father and grandfather were both well respected Prime Ministers' and I can't believe for one minute that he would sully their name and do something super sketchy.
I do think he is working with the Prince I-AN. They have know each other for a long time and are friends from school and yes, we know that he is totally unbearingly in love with Hui Ji but he recognizes that she IS in love with the Prince and I think that although it really does pain him to see them together, he loves and respects way too much to ever cause her any source of pain.
I am almost finished watching Perfect Crown and although I'm sad it's ending I got to thinking, which Korean actress would I like to see Byeon Woo Seok paired up with if I could pick someone?
My first thought was quick, and I picked Han So Hee! I really like her acting! So I checked out the other projects that BWS had coming up and I could not believe my eyes when I saw that the two of them were going to be doing this project together!

I don't think the QM is involved or would do anything like that, her father just saw the opportunity present itself to get rid of the Grand Prince, basically as a means to an end so nothing would stand in his grandson's way. He thought he was helping her but if ever there was such a thing as a can of worms, he sure as hell opened them 🪱
The Grand Prince will be like a dog with a bone now...
I think the QM was expecting the Prime Minister to give himself away at some point and become volatile which is what happened. I mean look at how he screamed at Prince I-AN. She warned him that his emotions would get the better of him (I'm paraphrasing)....
We're going to have to keep guessing about the spy girl named Lee Areum who was sent by the PM and if you were quick enough you would have caught the name in her file that the detective was flipping through, noting that her mother's name is, Park Malja. Off hand that doesn't ring a bell for me but could she somehow be related to the PM?

Speaking of the Queen Mother and her father, I found two things interesting.
Yes, the Queen Mother genuinely looked shocked when she found out that Hui Ji was poisoned. This would obviously indicate that she had nothing to do with it.
Now, having said that, if you go to the beginning of episode 8 and watch as Hui Ji collapses in Prince I-AN's arms, it then cuts to the Prince running with her down that long walkway and rushing her out to the waiting cars. Of course, the press was already there in full force so the news was covering all of it in real time as it unfolded.
And then in the next scene it shows the father of the Queen Mother sitting watching the coverage on his TV. His only words were, "Hold On".
To me, those two simple words, "Hold On", were the equivalent to a bubble over his head reading his thoughts: "Wait a minute, why is the Grand Princess being rushed to the hospital? I instructed that Prince I-AN's goblet be laced with Dioxin. Why did SHE drink from HIS goblet?"
So they were both shocked, but for different reasons. Her dad probably knows a lot of the backstory of the King and Queen etc.. so he knows all the tea 😏
As for Choi and Do, I think they're not involved in anything nefarious and would never harm the royal couple and they will become a couple themselves so they are probably red herrings at best. The producers/writers want people like me to run with these false clues. And here I am! 😂 Part of me still thinks that Choi is somehow tied to Prince I-AN. I can't off hand remember that detail.
On one hand, I sort of think that Choi and Do will wind up together because of they seem to like each other, you know all that heart thumping which is fairly obvious when they want couples together and I can't picture either one of them turning out to be disloyal to their bosses but it's just odd that Choi had no parents and it sounded like practically dumped off at the palace. The King although not seen much just in flashbacks didn't sound like too great of a guy.
The Prime Minister is obviously in love with Hiu Ju so I'm not sure he would be the one who tampered with the goblets because of the potential for her to get hurt. I think he's mad he can't have her and envious of the Prince but I don't think he HATES the Grand Prince. He just wants her.
Something might come of the people that we've seen from their younger days from school. The Queen looked shocked when she heard what happened. Her dad looks guilty as f*ck....lol
I thought it would end up where we find out that the Queen actually had a secret desire for the Grand Prince (I mean don't we all? ) 🤣🤣🤣 but he didn't like her that way so she married the brother....
