I was kind of thinking that a lot of these shows probably have someone from their staff that works soley on media related things so it's their job to kind of comb the internet to see if they can get a feel for what the viewers are talking about. You know, what they like and what they dislike.
I can't remember where I read it or who said it but somebody presumed that this reunion show was put together to save Mina Sue from the bad publicity that she was getting but that's not correct because the reunion show was filmed entirely before anything ever came out so there wasn't anything to clean up at that time.
I'm kind of thinking though that the reason they were filming it might actually in fact be because the hosts went to the trouble of apologizing to her mid show so maybe they kind of thought or wondered if they should address it because if the hosts feel like they're being particularly hard on Mina Sue then maybe the viewers will too.

Precisely! You hit the nail on the head. They don't know how to communicate with one another and if you're going to be in a relationship then you better learn how to talk and I don't mean having them just sitting and staring at each other wondering what the other ones thinking. I get why they're popular because everybody seems to be rooting for them and it would be nice if their relationship worked out but looking at how they are towards one another almost like they're walking on eggshells, I just don't think it's going to be a long-term thing but that's just my prediction I could be entirely wrong.
When I think of the potential conversation that we could have listened to between Jae Jin and Joo Young (who as we mentioned were on the rooftop gazing at the stars 🤩 💖🌠🌌) but basically instead had the rug pulled out from under us when their scene was abruptly cut off mid sentence, I just want to scream at whoever was in the editing room at the time 🤬🤬🤬
This show should be treating them far better than what they have been. I still haven't forgotten that comment that one of the hosts made when Jae Jin & Joo Young's minimal amount of screen time was finished and it changed over to another contestant like Mina Sue or whoever it might have been and the male host had the audacity to say, "Well, now on to the main event" . They try and talk and then she runs away to the bathroom. They stare at each other. Awkward silences. That was left in but the couple of the group was once again pushed aside to make way for what?
They're in the car and Jae Jin gives Joo Young an ear bud so they can listen to some music together while travelling, ensuring the audio isn't picked up by the cameras. They obviously prefer privacy when they can get it. Both seem pleased while listening to it.

Have you tried watching One In Upon a Small Town? He's really great. Sometimes I find if I don't like a storyline it makes me resistant to the actor(s). If the writing is bad it just wrecks everything. I like most of the actors but the storyline is all over the place and I think it could have and should have ended after 8 episodes 😜
It looks like Joo Young is considering flashing up her YouTube Channel. There is currently only one video on it and it's about 5 years old but I think if people show enough interest (maybe) she will post like Hyeseon from Singles Inferno 3 does on her YouTube Channel. Hyeseon obviously realized that not everyone has Instagram, Tik Tok or X so it was nice to be able to keep up with her. She travels a lot.

The thing is Heesun and Subeen were playing phone tag a lot. Time difference or not, if you want to prioritize a relationship you have to make an effort. Talking on the phone or even texting or emailing and saying something to acknowledge that you are thinking about the other person goes a long way but if you have long periods of silence, it kind of appears like one of you has moved on.
He found out purely by a conversation that came out that she drank vodka like water. That tidbit is something Subeen wasn't aware of but Sunghun was so I think Subeen was taken a little aback by that. She forgot to mention it to him.
I just think that Heesun demonstrates someone who can become excessively jealous and so when they try to talk about something, she runs away to the bathroom etc. They are both young and two years apart. You can be a young age and you can also conduct yourself with maturity BUT I think she definitely shows that her age is 22.
Then you look at Jae Jin and Joo Young. A totally different relationship than the other couple. The maturity level is just so different than Heesun and Subeen. They are also two years apart, he being 28 and she being 26. They seem like old souls. They apparently want to be low key. I know they are painfully aware of how Koreans tend to judge relationships that are made public as we have seen time and again that IF they as fans or viewers don't approve, they will be extremely vocal to the point of rudeness. So I think they are probably making sure that nobody tries to come for them and damage it. At times I really wish that I had Instagram but it seems like more of a negative thing that an positive thing but that's another story.

I'm not the least bit surprised because even with the LIMITED airtime they were given, it was so obvious that the two of them were falling for one another. I didn't think that Jae Jin was going to let her go after the show ended. I also didn't think Joo Young would let Jae Jin go either.
Joo Young made an interesting comment about how easy it was talking with Jae Jin. It reminded her of talking with her dad and it gave her comfort. There is a saying out there that you tend to marry a man who is like your father. I am really rooting for those two 🥰

Go back and watch Jae Jin. I'm cheesed that their initial segment viewing the show was only 31 minutes. I wish they would have shown Joo Young when she first laid eyes on Jae Jin as he came back from his date with Ye Jin. Her eyes were as BIG as saucers as she stared at him and looked away but you could see her eyes follow his movement. He caught her eye immediately when she first saw him and no mention of that????? Come on editors, wakey wakey....
I felt like the Winter Getaway portion was mostly Heesun and Subeen. Too much screen time. Sorry. I really think they like each other but I get the feeling that she is super jealous.
