In another clip we found out that he was basically commenting on how petite she was and then in Paradise he said to Joo Young that when he sees her struggle with her luggage trying carry it, he feels like he wants to protect her. I'm really irritated with the lack of screen time that they have given for Joo Young and Jae Jin.
As someone who is part of their fanbase, we are begging to see MORE of their verbal interactions and all you show us are crumbs because you think people would rather ragebait against the person you've strategically selected to be this season's villain.
After the Dodgeball Challenge everyone was supposed to pair up with those partners and have a bite to eat. They showed long conversations with the other contestants as they interacted with one another AND THEN they literally show TEN SECONDS of Jae Jin and Joo Young talking about cornstarch and food in a moment that IF YOU BLINK ED you missed it. And then we see Hyun Jae knocking on the door or entering their space because he wanted to talk to Joo Young which then almost simultaneously happened as the loudspeaker interrupted everything. I mean come on. Why does Joo Young get pushed into a corner for Mina Sue or even Minjee to have more airtime?
I don't dislike Mina Sue but I don't like the MASSIVE airtime that has been given to highlight her indecisiveness.
Jae Jin and Joo Young seem to be very attracted to one another, we saw how Joo Young stared at him when she first saw him as he returned from Paradise and then when she picked him to go to Paradise, he RAN out of the boys bedroom to go meet her much to the chagrin of Hyun Jae. ❤️ Go look at the footage. He clocked in at a high speed on his way out to meet Joo Young and Jae Jin is the same guy who strolled into Inferno with his infamous casual Joseon saunter, leaving the panel in hysterics 🤣 #heraninsteadofsauntering

It's not exactly the gesture of giving food that I find odd/funny, it's the actual type of food. Eggs can be quite pungent if they aren't boiled properly.
I also always laugh when they show Koreans going to a "Sauna" and then they sit there with a big bowl of boiled eggs and their cute little towel hats.
Although it was impressive to read that the actors all played their own instruments and even took a year to learn them to prepare for their respective roles, it wasn't enough to save this movie.
There is zero chemistry between the ML and the FL.

Okay tell me, who do you like as a couple? I am drawn to Kim Jae Jin and Lee Joo Young. For once, I want the people I like to become "the" couple. I think he's a bit jealous of Youn Hyun Jae because he has also expressed interest in Joo Young. I hope they don't make this season all about one guy or one gal. They seem to be letting them all have some airtime but I guess we'll see what happens when those newbies come on during episode 5.

Well, I finished watching all of it this afternoon and man I feel a bit drained. Having said that though, I really do think it's well worth watching. As I mentioned before, the male lead is incredible and if I could recommend something else of his that I've watched is a really touching movie called "Your Name Engraved Herein".... after watching this drama, I felt that I needed to watch something a little more light-hearted and quirky so now is the time to start Singles Inferno 5 🤣🤣😉😊😜
When I first started watching it I thought it would be a little different meaning just the way the first few scenes opened up the show but having said that I was intrigued enough that I will have to see this through to the end. I would recommend you give it a try and if you have to stop watching it for a bit try going back because I think you are going to want to see the full story. The first part of this series is 10 episodes and the second part also has 10 episodes I'm now on part 2 episode 5 Btw, the male lead, Tseng Ching Hua is an incredible actor.
I just finished episode 8 😭 man, this show is so incredibly sad. He never had a chance to live a normal life. You can see how things led up to actions. 😭😭😭
