It's so sad that he must have felt that there was no other alternative for him . Condolences to his wife and children and the many fans who will miss him and who were always in his corner.
I really wanted to like this show and I was waiting (and waiting) to watch it until nearly all of the episodes were dropped so I could binge watch it or watch it at my leisure.
In my opinion there was no chemistry between any of the couples. The language barrier that the show used as tool for inserting some type of manufactured conflict between the couples kind of wrecked some of the concept of the show because it seemed like all they showed was them talking on their phones to each other. Gee, how unromantic can you get? I mean how are you supposed to establish a connection for one another when all you're doing is you're looking at your phone?
I also would have preferred the show more if the women would have been Korean to better match their counterparts and YES, I do realize that this is a Japanese show so perhaps the men should have all been Japanese, got it? That's all I'm basically trying to say. And yes, they're going for the added conflict of having a language barrier to make people want to watch something that could potentially be insurmountable (yada yada) but to make the show a bit more believable with a possible chance of a happy ending for someone then I think all of the shows participants (male and female) need to be all Japanese or all Korean.
I see that there are at least two other shows that prefaced this particular show and in at least one of those shows (which takes place in New York), all 8 of the participants are Japanese. I didn't look too closely at the other show(s) that I mentioned to see if they too were all Japanese. I personally just don't find myself invested in any of their relationships because they're not living in the same country. So when it comes to their jobs, will the Korean men move to Japan or will the Japanese women move to Korea? I do know that there are Korean actors and actresses married to Japanese actors and actresses so it's not unheard of but when you have younger actors just starting out the potential for them to hook up with and stay with someone from a different country looks to be very low. I think if you're more of an established actor or actress then you have more leeway or opportunity to come and go or work out,of whichever country that you want to.
The other thing is (in my opinion) there were just too many hosts. Four hosts are more than ample.
And one last thing, I always wonder if the people that create these shows read the comments and or reviews etc? I'm hoping IF they decide to make more shows or stuff that's similar to this one that maybe they'll take some of the reviews and/or comments made about the show to heart so that they can improve it for the next time.
Would have been more interesting if they were required to go on a date with each member of the opposite sex and then compete in small tasks or challenges in order to get the opportunity to WIN a dream date with someone of their choice.
Ah to see these youngsters make the same mistakes I and we all prolly did because of insecurity, not appreciating…
I can't believe Ji woo had three guys fawning over her. She clearly loved the attention.
I thought Ye Rin and Jungyun would have made a cute couple but he's young so he's not going to be tied down to anyone especially if he's an actor wanting to gain popularity and a fan base.
Loved how SY felt conflicted after Ye Rin went on the bowling date. You snooze, you lose...
Did we find out who the cancer patients baby's father was? The girl swears it's not the actor and in one of the episodes Doctor Cha had a conversation with her and said the father should be told about the baby and then she told Doctor Cha that she left a clue for her dad to figure out who the father is but I can't seem to find what episode that was now.
I am on ep 5 and even though the husband is an ass the actor is too good. He is my favourite out of the cast.…
Oh my God I'm laughing at your post because I just made a post that was similar to yours I just started episode 5 and I'm ranting about the husband being an ass 🤣🤣🤣
Just the fact that Disney did that sensationalized sex tape TV series called Pam and Tommy is cringe enough... You gotta know that Walt was rolling over when it was released...
Her husband was a jackass and that mistress of his was a little witch.
I wish her relationship with the younger guy would have worked out.
It seems like some of the Japanese shows that I've watched tolerate this husband cheating on his wife kind of behavior or it's nothing out of the ordinary the way it would be more so in North America.
I'm watching episode 14 where they get legally married.... what the F is that Tshirt she's wearing? looks so stupid,…
The clothing choices for the FL were ridiculous. Every top she wore had some writing or phrase scrawled across it. The" two fried eggs top" was cringe...
