A few spoilers about the last episode (source: MBC entertainment): - Ha Ran is looking for answers about Chan, but since he completely disappeared and the tablet is broken, she decides to talk to Su Jin, who confesses everything (the reason for Chan's disappearance, her relationship with Hyuk Chan and even the circumstances of his death). -Ha Young&Tae Seok: while driving for a business trip, Ha Young encounters a heavy snowfall in the road. Upon learning this, Tae Seok rushes to find her, worried about her safety. At least our 2nd couple will have a decent scene when they finally get together I guess *-*
I just read that the last episode will be extended by 10 minutes (source: MBC entertainment). Good news, we really need the extra time!! (actually I think we would need a 3 hour long last episode XD)

Exactly. I'm really disappointed with how the second half of the series unfolded. It feels like they kept dragging the secret just to create a big dramatic payoff for the final episodes. Even if they somehow manage to save the last two episodes from being a total chaos, it already feels too late. The story spent too much time building a relationship that is based on lies. Now that the truth is finally out, it feels like the real journey — healing and rebuilding — should begin. Instead, we're at the endgame... That makes me really sad, because this drama meant a lot to me. It was the highlight of my weeks and helped me see the spring during a winter in my life.
Mr Yeon is so pathetically in love with Ha Yeong... The only food he has at home is the same kind of candy she gave him when they first met as high schoolers. 😠I'm very curious what will trigger the breakthrough in their relationship as he's so determined not to cross the line because of his guilt over the accident.

I totally agree with you! It was so uncomfortable watching the scenes of Ha Ran and Chan in episode 8 since Chan is still keeping her in the dark about his past. He's basically deceiving her and it's really not okay to start a relationship when it is not built on sincerity. It was painful to watch Ha Ran happily being in love knowing that the truth has to come out eventually and she will be hurt a big time again... Episode 9 was better as Chan admitted to himself that they can't go on like this anymore and started to actively work on finding out the truth so that he can tell Ha Ran everything. Still, this dragging is too much and I'm afraid that maybe Ha Ran might not even find out the truth in the next episode either, only in ep 11... I hope I'm wrong tho, I really want to see them in a relationship built on honesty and trust.
Heavy topics are indeed present (like depression, suicide) but overall it's such a comforting drama so far. Each episode is like a warm hug, the characters are likeable, the family&romantic relationships are both great. I really recommend the drama, Fridays and Saturdays with the new episodes are the peak of my week lately 😃
Someone pointed that during the last scene, the camera was shaky when it was focused on Chan but stable when it was on Ha Ran. Such an incredible detail! 🤯😠The cinematography is truly on another level.

I don't agree, I think they acting is completely different. It's true that the character of Lee Sung-Kyung also has a blank face in a lot of situation, but it's explained in the storyline that she shut herself emotionally because of her traumas. Despite of this, she still expresses a vide range of emotions in a very subtle way. Watching her acting I was really impressed how well she plays with her facial expressions and voice, it already gives so many layers to the seemingly plain character.
