I do really like BaBi, but I feel they are not giving us enough to really get to know him, his cells and his life…
The little hints of his inner feelings (like when the tries not to smile but keeps grinning and when his heart flutters when she wishes good morning and fixes his necktie) are sooo good, I hope we get more of those asap!
I do really like BaBi, but I feel they are not giving us enough to really get to know him, his cells and his life still feel superficial (they really showed a lot of Woong's life, his friends, his thoughts)
Can I skip S1 and start with S2? I already know she dated different ML in s1 but I just wanna watch for Jin young…
I believe you can! I gave a brief explanation about the cells to my sister and she could understand most of what's going on, cause relationship wise the second season kind of gives a "reset".
I'll try to help you out: basically they show us how our cells work while we live and make decisions. One thing to know is that each person have a "primary cell", which is the cell that is most important to that person and that is her/his priority. For one person could be the Reason cell, for another the Love cell, and so on. In Yumi's case, her primary cell is Love, so when she's in a relationship that's gonna be her priority.
There are minor details you will miss, but it won't make the series worse. Especially if you're a Jinyoung fan (he's reaaaally handsome and cool, I'd definitely watch only for him haha
I had not even considered watching this drama because of the rating, but after seeing the comments here I'll give it a chance! Rating here are very misleading sometimes
Honestly I felt like Yea Ji could've delivered more seductive stares, she's got the looks (I kept expecting something like Han So Hee in The World of the Married), but nevertheless I'm gonna keep going, hope it continues the good pace! Also looove Lee Sang Yeob, I don't know what it is about him that makes every character so interesting!
same reason I'm watching lol. after my high expectation dramas failed me I've decided to go on impulsive mode…
right! I've been already pleasantly surprised with cdramas like this before (like with A River Runs Through It and Lovely Us) so I often give them a chance with fingers crossed haha
that low budget romcom we watch when there's nothing more to see.. if you have no expectations and watched and rewatched all the really good romcoms there is (my feelings right now) then I guess it's worth the watch (so far)
Well as we that are already used to watching cdramas expected.... let's talk about the ending
I was wondering how they would make do so that the body exchange didn't happen.. well, I hated at first cause it was so out of context from the get go..
BUT.
thinking about it.. I much rather prefer than let's say The Day of Becoming You (spoiler: in the end the story was a fiction from a book of the FL). In this one, they imply that the leads actually lived that from the VR (we saw the FL, but then the ML also says that he always go there and their relationship is different)
SO.. if I didn't know that something like this would happen, I'd probably be pissed, but since I expected worse, it's a rather good ending for me. Just hoped to see their relationship develop further :(
How's the romance?which episode did the leads start dating?,any breakups or love triangle?
as it's still in high school time (and I'm not sure it will advance past that) they don't properly date yet, but have some light romantic moments.. you know China never puts dating while at school
it's a whole different plot from Nevertheless. Yumi learned and grew herself up from her dating experiences including…
I don't think you understood my comment, though I'm not comparing both stories, I'm simply saying since they changed one original work I hope they can do it with another
Now actually comparing: Personally I HATED the change in Nevertheless.. it turned from a girl overcoming a toxic relationship to plain toxic relationship. But in Yumi's Cells season 1, although the relationships might have flaws, they have YET not shown any absurd and toxic behavior (sooo different from Nevertheless..)
screenwriters change the script however they want to, so let's just ship with our hopes and without thinking hahaha
