I'm the first person who says, ratings don't matter especially on MDL, because most people can't give lower score…
oh I understand how you feel! After studying about movies I started to analyze more than I wanted to and that made me care about direction, acting, editing and writing in a way that my standards were too high to just enjoy a show for what it was. Now I rate a show for its intention. If it’s an artistic and serious drama, I expect these aspects to be polished. But if the show’s intention is to be a light hearted comedy and it made me laugh and happy then to me it deserves a 10 even if it has some flaws :)

I don’t necessarily analise that deep, I just rate according to my enjoyment. I really enjoyed watching LR despite its flaws, I had a lot of fun, that’s all. I rewatched and will probably rewatch again after some time.. but this one, although I know it has good acting and a touching story, I will not watch it again cause I didn’t feel that much for the characters. Maybe cause I don’t have parents like that to relate to, now you got me thinking hahahah I’ll take it to therapy 😂
Yes, why doesn't it deserve a 9.4 rating? Of course it does. If I had it on my hand, I'd give it a 10, because…
Chill dude, you can give any grade you want, I’m just personally impressed by the grade since other amazing kdramas get much lower grades overall. The grades in this website are really biased, that’s all

It’s not that this individually doesn’t deserve a 10, honestly. Lovely Runner is just personally what I like in a drama, not necessarily better than this. But comparing to other (imo) better kdramas this is a lot higher
at first I saw all the comments about crying and decided I'd skip this, since I don't really like those sad cry-every-episode kind of dramas. but the high ratings are making me tempted. do I watch it? it's a beautiful romance or is it very sad?
Where was Sae Ron's PARENTS???? They allowed her dating Soo Hyun, no matter what age she was. Now, they are crying…
I don't know about you, but when I was a teenager I managed to do a lot of things behind my parents back. My sister dated an older guy, my family found out, grounded her and demanded her to break up with him, but she lied about it and kept seeing him anyways. They might have told her family just after everything. Or her parents might be just terrible people that wanted her to date someone famous to boost her career.. either way that doesn't make him innocent, just make them all guilty. I hate to throw hate at people on the internet, but please don't try to make this ok by switching the blame to someone else. HE dated a minor, and that's a fact. HE ignored her when she asked for mercy. And her passing on his birthday shows that he was part of the reason for her depression.
so excited for this!!!!! love the two main leads, they are great actors and match so well. February will drag itself ~ ~ can't wait for this and moon gayoung one
I really like this! Honestly I usually enjoy minor love triangle, but these two are so lovely together I'm actually already frustrated and wanting the second leads to just go away
