Yes, Tennant will be back this year, for the 50th annivesary so we will definitely see Ten and/or Tentoo again. The question now is "will we see Rose?"
Also there was a rumour that River was gooing to be the one who brought the Eleven doctors together, but I read yesterday some sopilers for season 7 that contradicted that, so we'll have to wait and see.

Yes, I completely agree with you, that's why her character dissappointed me so much, especially in the last episode, when she tells Amy that the secret is to never show any weakness. That's really sad because that just proves the point the River feels like she has to play the role of an awesome kick-ass girl when she's with The Doctor, because that's how he sees her, so she really can't be herself. She has to be this girl The Doctor made her be. I'm just glad that her character is almost dead, and I hope that the Doctor's relationship with Clara will be a lot better

Yes that's the thing with River. The relationship with Rose was so easy and natural an then there comes River, with whom you expect this awesome relationship, but it's not. I mean you have all the epic story backwards and the chemistry and the flirting but at the end of the day you don't feel that connection that he ahd with Rose, that depth. And he only married River because he had to. I find it completely unromantic.And I think that it's partly because the Doctor already saw her dying. I mean he knows the relationship i fun, but he also knwos it will end soon.

And also yes, The Doctor's Wife I think is like my favorite Who episode! It's simply genius! I can't wait to watch Neil Gaiman's episode for this season!!
And as for other Whovians, SleepNinja is one (she actually was the one who made me watch the show) and Ali101234 is another one (we convinced her to watch it,between SN and me)!

She was made to be obsessed with the Doctor and the Doctor doesn't really loves her, he just marries her because he HAS to, to save the universe, and he probably only tells her his name when he knows she's going to die. And besides, what will be done about Clara? He obviously likes Clara, like a LOT, so what will he do with his WIFE? Besides, River herself looked like such a badass who doesn't take crap from anyone and then in The Angels Take Manhattan, she's all needy and out of character. I mean how can you compare Eleven x River with Nine/Ten/Tentoo x Rose??? The Doctor loved Rose, more than he has ever loved anyone, and you can't compare how he was with Rose as how he is now with River.
But moving on to the present! What do you think about Clara??? who do you think she is? And what do you think will happen for the 50th anniversary?

ohhh you turned into a total whovian!!!!Watching Torchwood (I am too, to be honest!)and reading the books! But that's my point exactly! Moffat is great for the action plots and the mess-with-your-head plots, but he doesn't know how to write REAL HUMAN characters! Not even the Doctor is well portrayed because as you said, 11 lacks all that "humanity" that 9 and 10 had. The thing with RTD was that he was a genius because he knew how to balance the emotional part and the action part, even if the plots weren't as complex as Moffat's or the TARDIS wasn't as cool. And River... oh River! Her story was SO promising! And her love story with the Doctor seemed to be EPIC! Because she was the WIFE! She knew The Doctor's REAL name! Not even Rose could accomplish THAT (even though she probably did, with Tentoo), and then it turned out it was really nothing, because....

Like you said, 11th's seasons have this fairy tale feeling and I like THAT part,I just don't like the characters.Amy is selfish and shallow and can't make up her mind, Rory isn't so bad but only lives for Amy. And River.... well I loved River at the beginning but then I was dissappointed that her whole life depended on the Doctor. In my opinion you can't compare the Doctor's relationship with these new characters to the relationships in the RTD era.
BUT, I love Clara, she's a huge change from the Ponds and new dynamic with the Doctor.Besides, the rumours about who she really is are really awesome, and I can't wait for season 7 to start again March.
On the good side, about what you said about everyone disappearing (and I agree completely, it was one of the things that bugged me the most),Moffat has confirmed that Jack is coming back, and all the other Doctors too, for the anniversary!

yaaay another whovian! :D Ok yes, Ten is my Doctor too, he's the best and I've got a serious crush on David Tennant and his amazing ability to have like 100 different facial expressions in less than a minute! And I thought the same too,my favorite seasons are the first 4, especially 2 and 4. As for the following seasons.... I don't know if you know but after season 4 and its special, the show went from RTD's hands to Steven Moffat's, so the direction changed completely. Moffat practically threw out the window RTD's work and started it all over again. He said that season 5 was not really season 5, it was really season 1 of new Doctor Who. I hated season 5, thought season 6 was entertaining but no depth an season 7.... well I'm just glad the Ponds left, I just don't like Amy. I'll continue on another comment because I don't have any space left.

Yes, I still can't get over season 2's ending. I just love the Doctor and Rose so much!!! For me they're like IT. But there are plenty of good stuff to come! Did you watch the Christmas special???

Yes, I started watching it and I like it a lot! You're right, both main actors are awesome. I loved Martin Freeman in The Hobbit.
And yes, what I love about Doctor Who is that it's all coming together, not just Rose and the Doctor. I love the Doctor's relationship with Jackie and Mickey. And OF COURSE, I love Jack! :D
