Haven't watched last episode yet and I'm unsure if I should continue... Did she still not tell him she's not married? I really do not understand why she still keeps it hidden like c'mon... what would happen if she'd confess her lie to him?
Totally agree with your assessment of the relationship! Like I wanted to watch an adult romance, not adults acting like 13-year olds who have a crush on each other....
it's an okay drama so far but I feel like the scriptwriters just want to put every genre into the series without committing to any of them completely. Like, there's thriller elements but they're just not fleshed out enough and the characters just outright state what is happening or whatever and it just feels not engaging. I'm never on the edge of my seat - and I wasn't even at the murder attempt on the FL. Also, the romance. There is still time to go but I don't feel any chemistry yet. Rain seems to be concerned, but it comes off as him just doing his job instead of actually getting interested in the FL. And she just has too much going on to even recognise Rain as a possible love interest right now. The evil mother-in-law and chaebol-shenanigan tropes are so strong here as well it just feels like a morning makjang drama (the ones with 100eps), though the mil is kinda hilarious to watch (which she shouldn't be to make the story work). Now, Kim Ha Neul... I never found her acting convincing and I think she and her team do an awful job choosing dramas for her. Her acting is so bland in here she doesn't feel like a real human at all. Rain on the other hand is doing a fine job acting here and I feel like he has improved from previous roles and of course, he is eye candy like always. All in all, an okay drama to watch while waiting for My Sweet Mobster and Miss Night and Day. Still 6 episode are left and I have no idea how the writer wants to wrap up the chaebol politics and also introduce and develop the romance between the leads in that time.
OMG!!!! The kiss at the end!! I don't know how I'll be able to survive to wait another whole dmn week *cry*
Also, I felt really bad for the prosecutor in the scene where they met up and she rejected him :( hope he will get together with someone else and not pursue Eun Ha in vain anymore.
yeah I nearly dropped the red sleeve because of her but I did think she became better in the ending episodes, but still her acting is lacking a lot and it was most evident for me in Kairos and the Crowned Clown
Theory: In Ep1 the landlord describes the father as being a widower, but in Ep2, FL says that her father has never…
my theory is similar but I suspect the female boss of the other law firm to be her mother. The ceo of the law firm she is working for now probably had a crush on the dad in the past and is now helping the daughter out
(also btw I really love how they cast both CEOs of those powerful law firms as women)
I want to start this so my question is, is this any good? How is the romance?
just keep in mind that this foremost is a political drama, the romance is only secondary and is used more for character motivation than to create heart-fluttering moments for the audience. I've seen people complain a lot about that and I think that many had different expectations that then were not meant. It's an excellent drama though with strong characters, great political scheming and absolutely beautiful costumes. Also, characters here are not black and white, they are more on the grey side and sometimes I found myself siding with different characters depending on what was going on
