I really enjoyed it and the young actors did such an incredible job they outshined the adult actors with the exception of the king. Tbh I kinda didn't feel the chemistry between the adult couple at all and the FL was miscast in my opinion.

that's funny as international fans are the first to cry 'cultural appropriation' towards idols but it doesn't matter when it's the other way around?? (also don't get me wrong, ca should be called out but being ignorant on one's one part is also not right)

I had this on my to watch list for a while now but as it just recently was added to netflix I just jumped in. Just so you know, it does contain really graphic child abuse so the rating is not to be taken lightly! even if you're over 18 it's still a lot!
Gave it a 9.5 rating, everything was amazing but I think it was so overwhelming that I didn't even cry like I expected me to. Acting was amazing and the ending was not what I wanted but it was realistic

I just watched the movie 'my first client' and I'm also currently watching young lady and gentleman but didn't recognize her! she did such an amazing job in that movie, 100% recommend it (be aware that you'll need a lot of tissues though!)

personally I usually don't like the cross-dressing trope with two exceptions (Mr. Sunshine and Nokdu). It's just too much of a stretch for me to beliefe that anyone wouldn't immediately recognize Kim Yoo Jung to be a woman and not an Eunuch lol

I love that the writer doesn't wait forever to reveal certain things to the characters. The FL already told her boss the truth which in the beginning I was afraid would come back way later to cause an even bigger misunderstanding
