This is a great show for those of them that likes the typical cliche storylines, but I liked it from the start to the end. However, it didn't end quite the way I wanted it too, but there is something about this kind of Wuixia stories that I damn well enough like to torture myself through.
It okay, enough to watch for those that want to watch something.
There's actually a lot I can say about this story, about its plotline and everything really, and as I haven't seen the Legend of Chusen 2, so I can't say for sure if everything will be ready and dandy in the next chapter of the story.
The actors are doing a great job of being convincing but I loved the side characters more than I did the main characters because they did such a better job at convincing me that it was worth the imbalance of the whole storyline.

Not the best, but good enough to rewatch!!!

There is just something about C-Dramas Wuixia that I love. That is, they are sometimes just enjoyable to rewatch, and there is something to learn from them, regardless.

The Taoism Grandmaster isn't a masterpiece, but it's enjoyable in its simplicity. The costumes are beautiful in some places, but could be repetitive in some instances. My favorite arc in the story was when they were in the desert. The Sand General. How did they do it? The costumes here were incredible, and I loved them!

Zhang Ling - My Favorite Tragic Hero. I had high hopes for him, though, it's my second re-watching this show, so I knew how he would end up, and it hits me in the gut every time. He had more Chemistry with LiuLi than Feifei. I also liked that he became a wanderer, as I have hope that in the end he became at peace with himself.

Donghuang Feifei - did not like her as a romantic lead for Zhang Ling. They didn't have any chemistry at all, though. I liked her friendship with Tie Lang the best, and had high hopes for them.

Tie Lang - Great. I liked his friendship with Zhang. It was so fun and great to see them with one another. This had to be the best part of the whole show. Them.

Liu Li - the best character of them all. Had chemistry with the leading man, and the one who gave colour to the wholeness of the show.

The ending. What can I say, it seemed rushed and could have been fleshed out a bit more than it had been, but I liked it nonetheless.

I honestly liked this drama, but I've only gotten to episode 38 and I am board out of my mind. It's repeating a lot of things just in a new setting. Also, it feels rushed and not well done. The relationship between the main leads are a complete fiasco, they don't have chemistry at all. The acting of Lu Han is not the best, but he is young and can grow as an actor if he wants to go down this road. However, the main actress could have been played by someone better. I loved everyone that played the supporting characters in the show because they didn't feel so rushed and more thought out then the main characters.
Why couldn't we see more of Chun ChangSheng's strengths, it was such a let down in that department but even then I really liked the portrayal of the main lead of him.

Though I have since seen the whole show and I can say for sure that it could have been better, but nonetheless, I like it better now that I have thought about it but generally seen its not the best show out there.

Even if it's such a long time since I have watched this perfect drama, I still remember it like it was yesterday. Lee Hong Ki had to have been the best comic relief in this whole show, and I loved his performance more so than the main characters.
Park Shin Hye has always been one of those actresses that has a lot to go one when it comes down to acting, but even then I really liked it and I had actually hoped for her to end up with one of the other guys in the show.
However, this is a guilty pleasure and you just have to watch it to get it out of your system, and for those that haven't done so yet, just do it. Your not gonna regret it any time soon!
