clearly not bong joon ho's finest. in fact the movie itself has got a pretty basic set up. chemicals dumped, monster born, family running around. but what really makes it good is all of the details in the background that youve got to be paying a slight more attention to notice. like the beginning where theyre all gathered in that quarantine place and while the 4 of them are busy crying etc the journalists are all over them with their cameras, the lady who parked her car wrong and has to deal with a ticket all in the middle of a fvcking monster/virus crisis like bish youre all gonna die what priorities honestly.
whatever else id want to say about this movie is pretty much up there in @daughter_of_the_king's review up there. i rated the movie an 8. it was pretty good. even if u dont get the references the thrill and the amount of heart put into the 4 of them sticking together despite the odds and some strange moments that you wouldnt ever expect to be heartwarming but well it is. all of these together just really. i might just tear up.
How come the name of the characters cast is different from that of the summary?
probably since they have multiple names (usually it goes up to 3 including given name, courtesy name, and another 'title' if theyre of high status) they probably put down one of the names
