seems to be the scheming concubine’s son since he referred to the crown prince as his older brother. I think he didn’t want to kill him since he was the last person who knew his brother, the crown prince, but he didn’t want him free because the stuff he knew would cause a lot of problems since they got away with killing basically everyone to put him on the throne.
