So much wasted potential.
I am new to this forum and my positive reviews will soon outnumber my negative ones—I promise. ꒰ღ˘‿˘ற꒱❤⃛
My gateway into kdrama romcom was King the Land.
Permission kiss?
Oh. My. Goodness.
Well worth waiting until episode nine.
Because This is My First Life—
Be honest, who doesn’t need a kissing tutorial after spending the day making kimchi?
Dynamite Kiss was a major disappointment after such a fun start.
The ‘let’s try it again moment’? Stellar.
I counted it as unfinished because I fast forwarded through the last few episodes and this is where the spoiler part comes in— What a waste of time ending.
Honestly, I am a sucker for the tropes.
Girl, trip in those high heels right into his arms.
Face blindness? Go for it.
But the last minute amnesia arc in DK seemed like the writers were just too bored to even try.
What happened to the sister?!? Nevermind. Enough.
Moving on.
My palate cleanse will be rewatching my favorite episodes of Her Private Life.
Maybe I’ll start with the sleepover in the photographer’s cabin. Or possibly the blindfold scene?¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I may just head right on into the workshop 🤗

Just for fun
I gave this a 10 because when I watched it, it was just what I needed.Over the top sexy silliness. Heads up.
Probably don’t watch with your parents.
Probably don’t watch with your children.
Let it be your fun guilty pleasure or some girl’s night giggles.
🤭 💞🥂
I watch K drama for all kinds of reasons. My favorites make me smile. Cheering for the underdog. Slow burn romances with witty banter.
For me Casa Amor on this particular night was a total thumbs up.

Beautiful, evolving love story
Beautiful, evolving love story.OST is wonderful.
Cinematography is at its best.
And such chemistry between Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum💞 I wasn’t familiar with FL and she is lovely, and of course 박보검 just lights up a room
Fantastic, supportive cast.
My suggestion—Skip episodes 14 and 15.
I don’t think these two episodes were written or produced by the same team.
ML and FL acting out of character, dramatically different vibe, and way too long to cover a short, unrealistic break up.
Rewatch value on this one is off the charts.

Full of love and fun ღ˘‿˘ற
Oh,My Venus is one of my rewatch favorites. 🤗Pure kdrama excellence in dialing up the heat. Those exercise sessions? Oh.My.Goodness. Their playfulness in the bedroom is why kdrama romcoms are the peak.
OMV is an adult drama with depth. It’s a romcom for sure but it deals with some harder issues also.
For me it stands the test of time with each character fully realized. We meet them, like most of them, and have the opportunity to get to know each as individuals. Even minor characters are fleshed out with a purpose in the story.
The caring family vibe makes this show a pleasure. They love each other so we love them.
So Ji Sub is so handsome and such a great ML. His mentor/father figure persona with the young men is captivating.
Henry Lau is such an energetic cutie and so fun to watch.
And let’s talk about Sung Hoon for a minute. What an intense back story for his character and the way he comes to trust Kim Young-Ho. He’ll go on to be the ML in Perfect Marriage Revenge.
And Shin Min-a is such lovely actress. She always seems so comfortable in her being. Just looking at her face makes me smile.
For context some of my other 10’s for rewatch are—
Guardian: The lonely and Great God (Gong Yoo)
Her Private Life (Kim Jae-Wook)
Crazy Love (Kim Jae-Wook)
Because This is My First Life
King the Land
My Dearest (Namkoong Min)
Perfect Marriage Revenge (Sung Hoon)
Sometimes I will rewatch a favorite drama start to finish if its been awhile, but more often I just pick an episode or two to revisit old friends.
Enjoy.💞
