I don't know if South Korea is missing the Block button on their pages, or if they just don't understand how to use it. Blocking out bad people, instead of playing into their games, or limiting comments, maybe even starting new fan pages and letting the old ones go for a while, wuth so many options there are so many ways to avoid the keyboard trolls, those who feel empowered by hiding in the quagmires of the internet, destroying people's lives, it's can be so easy to protect yourself from the empty rants and raves by just eliminating them from your pages and your mind. Friends can help you. Don't answer them. But above all, if you are going to drink, and you are such a key figure, it's so much cheaper and easier to just pay for a taxi. Grab some plastic bags, so you don't make a mess, trade a signature so they don't talk about you, and go on your merry way. He did not have to take his life over such a small matter in the grand scheme of things. Yes, I am not belittling DUI's. My family has had many deaths from being hit by DUI Drivers that hit them and ran away. But, he was pulled over before the damage. He should be seeking treatment and classes to make better decisions. He could have given back to the community with some sort of project. So much could have redeemed him. Time will heal the wounds. People really do forget. Especially if you did not destroy things or cost lives. That's a whole different ball game. I really find it odd that South Korea is known for it's alcohol consumption. It rivals many countries, and I am sure it compares to the sugar addiction of the United States. It is an expectation to be drunk almost every night. So, if that is the case, and 50% of the population is driving inebriated, why do you condemn people to death over something you have done yourself, multiple times? Is it that they were caught? Is it that they were famous? You like them being knocked down a peg? It's strange. I'm not condoning driving drunk. I am saying there should be more taxi, Uber, Lyft, or whatever you call friends to come get you. Slow down on the alcohol. We also need to calm down on our sugar intake in The States as well. We all have our vices. I'm just saying, those who live in glass houses should not cast the first stones...
I am curious, why do you have to be signed by an agency? Why don't they work independently? I read something like…
To get anywhere in their very competitive industry, you need a well known sign on agency that will be active in getting you into the scene so you will rise to the top. Zhao Lu Si was lucky to land some really great roles, but it was her acting that catapulted her to stardom. She was silly, trying to be the cutsie class clown previously, but her acting matured when she met Zheng Ye Cheng in Love Of Thousand Years. Her acting became full of depth, more serious, and some of her cantankerous nature was transformed with such a serious role. She was fantastic with Ding Yu Xi in Romance of Tiger and Rose, but she was spectacular in Love Like The Galaxy, which was practically made for her.
So, I truly believe her side of the story π―. The agencies do this all the time, trying to torture these young actors. If you try to fight the system, you are given less roles, forgotten, or a magical scandal is cooked up to end your career. 85% of the time it is Tax evasion. You would think that if you are a reputable agency, as they say, one of the easiest things to manage is taxes. It's pretty clear what is owed and what is not. Only greedy corporations try to cut corners, then hold it over the actors or actresses heads that it was done wrong to keep them in submission.
I'm not stupid. I can see that the statement is lies, steeped in honey, but by all the fake compliments they write, the lies get deeper and murkier. No one compliments like that after those types of accusations unless they mean the opposite of what it says. Only lemmings fall for the honey, only to get stuck, then stung. Zhao Lu Si is taking a stand. She is too powerful to be blacklisted. She is in demand. We all saw her. We will fight for her.
The conversations in this comment section is totally not about dramas! π€£π€£π€£Se la vie! As a United States…
South Korea may be a bit safer, community wise. But watch for North Korea's antics. BTS discharged so it could be open season now that they don't have to worry about 3 billion girls swarming them, if they hurt even a hair on all 7 bodies. It is about the size of Indiana or South Carolina. North Korea is about the size of Kentucky. They are both pretty close in size.
Easy peasy. Finished in 6 seconds with a perfect score. You can tell by the costumes and hair styles, plus the scenes, exactly which show each picture is about. She is versatile as an actress, a fierce force to recon with, and a strong person to face everything that has gone on behind the scenes and still persevere. She will overcome any odds. She is a survivor
Zheng Ye Cheng and Merxat Yalkun are amazing. They have been cast together multiple times, sometimes as arch enemies, and sometimes as brethern. You can tell they are great in front of, and behind the scenes as well, because they work so well together, on screen and off. There are so many great actors to choose from, but we are so limited by the amounts of votes we can cast. I wish we could vote for them all.
It's time to put Netflix in its place. They are not capping their profits, but are capping the salaries of their actors. Plus the poor decisions to change their policies, plus how little K-drama is available for content, I will not sign up with them. So, to stage a revolt, we must all band together and boycott Netflix to teach them we will not tolerate this behavior and that we respect our actors.
Zheng Ye Cheng, as Fu Jiu Yun, is a dream come true, as he reprises his iconic role for this program. Joining Liu Xue Yi, the main lead, this will be a beautiful story with wonderful acting that I can't wait to watch.
A special phenomenal chance to witness Zheng Ye Cheng returning to one of his most beloved characters, Fu Jiu Yun, an iconic immortal who is a fan favorite of Love Of Thousand Years. This is his first time reprising a role, albeit a cameo appearance, as he had a chance to be a part of it's pre-quel story. This character left an indelible mark in each of our hearts. We cheered when we heard he had such an illustrious chance to return to such a beautiful story. He has the gift of sharing a program with Liu Xue Yi, the main lead who is fabulous in Kill Me, Love Me and other fantastic roles.
Zheng Ye Cheng is making a cameo appearance as Fu Jiu Yun, in the pre-quel story of the immortals from Love Of Thousand Years. This is the first time he has returned to a previous character. It is exciting to bring back one of his most beloved and iconic characters, for us all to enjoy, even if it is for a couple moments. Die hard fans will scour the show for his brief but monumental moments captured for us all to re-live our favorite immortal that captured Zhao Lu Si. I am also excited about the main lead as well, Liu Xue Yi, who always leads a commanding presence, as when he was in Kill Me, Love Me and so many more.
Lol a review with 10 stars? Let the show at least air first broπ€¦ββοΈ
You have to put something. Since it has not aired yet, there is nothing to complain about so I can compliment until proven otherwise. It's like my teacher said once. All of us start the year of school with 100%. It's what we do for our work and understanding as to whether we keep that grade or not. I choose to think it is fantastic unless otherwise discovered.
Another person learning a costly yet avoidable lesson. If you can't say anything nice, keep scrolling. You can…
Byeon Woo Seok does not deserve this kind of disrespect. He is a nice guy with deep feelings and respect. He has worked so hard in the industry and it is finally paying off. We must encourage and protect him. A wonderful guy and fabulously gifted actor.
Another person learning a costly yet avoidable lesson. If you can't say anything nice, keep scrolling. You can make comments, but be ready for the consequences of your words and actions. No longer can you hide behind the keyboard and reek havoc. Just move on if you don't have kindness in your heart.
Angels Fall Sometimes is a great show that demonstrates that just because you received devastating news does not mean your life is over. It does mean you have to shift gears into the fast lane and get yourself going if you want to accomplish all you can before your personal deadline approaches. It also teaches you not to alienate those who love you the most, don't underestimate all people who face challenges with you, and sometimes people will falter and not all can sustain love with sever challenges, but the few that do must be cherished. You are not helping others by cutting them out of your life before giving them a chance to show you what they are really made of, for better or for worse. It is also important to have life discussions as well.
Quite excited for this film. And then-- not just the article, but the title and its subtitle spoiled the whole…
I don't mind spoilers because I can compartmentalize it and look at things anew. I don't focus on the knowledge of the future, but the complexity of the story, and their thoughts and feelings as they acted going into their character. I prefer to delve deeper into thought processes rather than get hung up on details that I would have figured out later. I'm sorry you feel cheated, but the solution is to stop looking for answers you don't want, so you can stop blaming others for the spoilers you sought out. Good luck in your future endeavors.
Happy Birthday September 16th! π π₯³ π π π π I just finished watching Dawn is Breaking and I just can't say enough how wonderful it was as a miniseries. These 20 minute or less an episode packs a punch with all the frills cut out so we can get straight to the point of what matters in the story. Richard Li is phenomenal as it is challenging gain momentum and chemistry when the shooting schedule is so short. But he is spectacular at getting the feelibgs across so quickly, yet giving us a feeling of patience even though they are racing against the clock to get the points across. He is able to achieve this believability and continuity flawlessly. I only stayed for the acting between him and He Xuan Lin. So good. It is a great show and i hope he goes on to bigger and better programs. He looks like he could play Chen Zue Yuan's brother, maybe.
This is a security situation that is a growing concern to the unwanted responses of the public. Unwarranted advances towards actors and actresses, who plainly and simply perform a job, are accelerating at a faster pace, as the public has lost all understanding of respect for boundaries and protocols. The actors and actresses are just trying to live their lives, requiring them to get from Point A to Point B completely intact and without anxiety. Yet we surround them, impeding their schedules and itinerary, saying they owe us because we watched their shows or bought their endorsements, and are devoted fans. We are no longer fans when we show disrespect for them by being rude and aggressive. We have morphed from fandom and respect, into threatening and vulgar behavior, creating fear. If we were true fans, we would respectfully line up and watch them walk by, asking for a picture instead of shoving cameras in their faces and swarming them. We are creating the need to be so severe when trying to protect the actors that this escalation is on the brink of infringing rights. The security overstepped its bounds. The actor involved should fire them and promise never to use them again. The security company should be held responsible as the actor would not know exactly how their situation would pan out, since only the security patrol would know what they will do and their protocol with instructions. The actor is not responsible for their actions, unless it was specifically requested by him. They are as much in the dark as the public is about actions taken until the aftermath is unfurled. He needs to be protected from the public, but they need to be respectful as they share the airport with the public. We all need to learn from this and calm down.
An actor/actress will always have haters/anti-fans. Even the biggest most loved korean actors have haters. But…
Salacious gossip has always been the downfall of so many good people. Why the general public is seduced and gullable as to believe and run wild with nasty comments is beyond me. Over and over again they do not wait for proof, but just jump on the erroneous bandwagons, absolutely ruining great people for no good reason. It is sad how many lemmings can't think for themselves and join wolfpacks. It's a sad world we live in when others can't see outside the manipulative games others play.
I heard in an interview where he said he just smokes for his roles and he isn't good at it. He and the other actors…
They used real herbal cigarettes for Cancer Man's character. William B. Davis talks about it in interviews. They were hard to use. He did not take many drags off or them. He hated them but he was a former smoker and did not want to smoke regular ones again. Matt Damon was type cast for so many action movies it did wear on his body with all the training and dieting. Most diets are supposed to be short term, not lifestyles. So Matt Damon came back to Bourne because the public did not accept the new guy and wanted Matt, but he handed off the batton at the end. Julia Stiles was done playing Nikki and had her character killed off as well.
This was an amazing show with such dynamic characters that we immediately fall in love with them all due to their quirky natures, but everyone meshes so well together that you accept them as a big family, even the friends. Such a whimsical and endearing story of a terminal illness, that is comical rather than tear-jerking, as we are all along for the unorthodox ride through misery that, instead of making us sad, keeps us laughing and rooting for Doom to punish the bad, yet quizzically wondering why he picks on the good as well, out of spite and opportunity. In the beginning, he has a flippant, no care in the world attitude as he meanders around the world, leave a swath of chaos in his path. He has his ruthless moments when the worst of the worst cross his radar, punishing them as they "stepped on his toes", challenging his very existence with competition he sees as a threat to his occupation.
She steps into the picture, a product of life's mishaps with a lifetime of misery under her belt, taking it all in stride about her new timeline and diagnosis of a terminal illness. Not a customary reaction to any catastrophe in life, as she just continues to face her daily challenges without skipping a beat, much to the shock of those around her. She is so used to taking care of otgers she leaves herself out of the equasion of life she faces every day. She just lets it finally sink in when she is alone, but acts like it is just another mild punch from life, until the night sets in. When she was inebriated, she found herself stumbling outside, isolated on her desolate rooftop with only the ability to face her biggest obstacle threatening her very existence, she then proceeds to make a desperate plea of revenge to the heavens to release her pent up frustrations, never expecting a response in return. 2 minds converge on the same idea, one desperately wanting the end of the world, and the other, desperately yearning for relief from 1 more challenge in life that will cut her off far too young from all her dreams and aspirations she thought she could pursue later. Thus starts a whirlwind growth for 2 vastly different lost souls to find growth and adapt to each other's quirks, finding acceptance after anger, eventually seeing through each other into their hearts, finding a love so scarce with so little time as they race the clock of fate, finding their destiny amongst the trials of the world to eventually meet in the middle.
Not sure what was going on. How they met, what was the problem between them. Guess I better watch the drama. Very…
Don't know if you watched it yet or not but she is the first female gamer selected in China to play professionally at this elite level. When she arrives, she knocked on the door with her suitcase, bags, cat, and fast food from KFC. Xiao Pang had ordered delivery, so when Lu Si Cheng answered the door, he mistook her forvtge delivery person. He just opened the door, grabbed the bag, and shut the door. She was stunned, texted on tge chat page about how he treated her, and they came to the door to let her in the headquarters. They sat across from each other in the living room, he was demanding she take down the comment posted, while she refused. He is the captain of the group, so tgey were acting like 2 kids in kindergarten, with him "pulling her pigtails" and her being the new person needing to prove herself, but finding out she has to learn to play as a team, not an individual. He was clear she had to watch her cat around his black goldfish. So you know it was a matter of time before Pancake the Cat ate one of Lu Si Cheng's "sons" in the fish tank. They ended up bonding, but it took a while.
He could have given back to the community with some sort of project. So much could have redeemed him. Time will heal the wounds. People really do forget. Especially if you did not destroy things or cost lives. That's a whole different ball game.
