Great until the very end, which was slightly rushed - the final scenes were somewhat disappointing, since I personally would have liked to have seen a bit more about what happened to each of the characters afterwards (other than just a quick voiceover summary for each child)! Still a really good and often very moving family drama, though, with an effective balance between pathos, comedy and subtle romance. Kimura Takuya's acting (and that of the child actors, who were generally very natural and believable, even in the most emotional scenes, which were also handled really well) was also brilliant, as usual :)
