This one began really well, but for whatever reason the writers got themselves into a real tangle and took the largely excellent cast into a journey of chaos without satisfactory resolution - especially for the female characters. In particular I found the ending very distasteful because there seemed to be absolutely nowhere for women subjected to abuse to find any kind of support and the overall thrust was for women to remain at home or become a nun instead of exploring their talents. The acting of the lead woman was really frustrating, not helped by the writers didn't give her enough active avenues to pursue - and without giving too much away, why on earth would she do what she did with her attackers in the final episode ?? Also they could have taken some notes from doctors who would have made the medical aspects more authentic! With the exception of a fine performance from Bae Soo-bin, it's a huge lost opportunity for portraying a strong story - unless we simply view it through the lens of male friendship - with women forced into corners - which in itself is a worrying portrayal. The editing in the final episode was also very messy after at least 2 too many episodes. In the end, it just made me very cross that I had wasted so much time hoping for a coherent ending and the actors' talent had not been put to best use.
