I think the fact that she was deceived is affecting any feelings she does have for him. When she couldn't remember she did fall in love with him enough to follow him to battle even though he wrote her a divorce letter. She's questioning everything he did, all the lies he told her... I think if he had confessed earlier, she might have been hurt but not as much as finding it out on her own.

I was thinking he usually plays main roles or 2nd roles so he's probably going to play an important role. I haven't read the book, but my intuition is that he's the mastermind behind Prince Sui. Never trust the brother in the wheel chair. 😂

Splash Splash Love is a great short kdrama that has a similar vibe but the girl goes back in time. My Divine Emissary is the cdrama remake of Splash Splash Love. It's a bit dated but Queen Inhyun's Man kdrama was really good.

There's no way that mu family lady is 28. She looks as old as ml (late 30s atleast). I would say it's a miscast.
I've seen her earlier stuff, and I think she's had plastic surgery. It's more obvious in She and Her Perfect Husband. She looks more natural in this drama. Plastic surgery makes women look older imo even though on the surface skin is tighter and smoother.

I think he's supposed to be a grey character, not so much a villain. Like how he treats Mi Lan bc she reminds him of his sister so he struggles to hurt her. He cares about. Jinxue but hates her at the same time bc she's rich and spoiled. He does what he does to survive even though he knows it's wrong.
