I have a friend who has it, and early on she told me about it so I wouldn't get offended if she didn't recognise me right away. She'll recognise people mostly by other things when seeing them at a distance, for example the way someone walks. She also refuses to tell people exactly what it is that "sets them apart" for her, since in the past friends have felt insulted depending on what it is.
