dw, no ones waiting on their knees just for the nc scenes, and yh the age of consent is definitely not appropriate in this case cuz "age of consent" and "age where a person can film mature content" are different things, but the reason why crying, screaming and throwing up on MDL aint gonna do shit cuz the culture and norms in thailand are different, while international viewers are weirded out by this, no thai person is seen complaining why not discuss about that, and the only reason people are "enabling this" is bcuz its an addicted remake, or no one will be watching this, and for fucks sake we dont even know how far they went with the nc scenes so lets calm down a bit

that's the thing, they're not conforming to "WesTerN StAnDarDs", they're conforming to their own THAI standards , It's fine as long as no one was forced to do stuff they don't want to do, and yh usually 16 year old girls don't agree to act with older men cuz it probably makes them uncomfortable, Mac accepted since August is already a well reputated actor and Mac has good experience too, y'all acting like they forced Mac to film a corn film or smt CALM DOWN

Comparing this to child marriage and what not y'all need to sit and think NO ONE WAS FORCED/COERCED TO SHOOT THIS SHOW ... this reminds of Fuaiz's situation during DFF cuz he was underage at the time and from what I've understood, the underage actors's parents have to sign some sort of form to allow certain stuff... We don't even know what will be shown in this and I don't think they'll be showing us some soft corn shit so sit down and at the end of the day EVEN THE SMALLEST INTIMATE SCENES ARE SHOT WITH THE ACTORS PROTECTION AS PRIORITY... talking about some "oh but they are adapting an explicit material which is bad for the actor" DO YOU THINK THEY'RE ADAPTING EVERY SINGLE PORNOGRAPHIC SHIT FROM IT . Just look at Mac's history, he isn't the inexperienced damsel in distress newbie actor that was manipulated into shooting this... He is really young but I do believe his experience has created some sort of matureness in him, and his parents wouldn't just let their child film some shady shit. Please just support the actors and their work, I really don't want this to affect them wrongly.
