He wouldn't remain completely pure but it wasn't like Tagon. We saw his change through all the episodes but Eunsom remained almost same all the time so i expected to see less change in him this season as well. I found old Eunsom weaker and liked this more cruel one better but still he felt like Saya sometimes. It is not like im trying to badmouth LJK so you don't need to defend him. When change of actor it is normal for them to give their own interpretation. I wish Tanya had more scenes too... This 2 seasons is not enough for this much of potential:(

I enjoyed this season too but change of cast made me feel different about the characters as well. Eunsom's character didn't felt as pure and Tanya was more strong and firm. I liked both of them but they were like new characters to me. I wasn't sure about Tanya's actress but i think she did a good job. This season there were more fight/war scenes, i enjoyed but it felt chinese as they were flying while fighting, they lost the sense of reality a lot compared to season 1. I know this is fantastic drama but there should be limits. And there were plotholes as well. But afterall it made me excited every episode and pacing was great. I hope there will be next season cuz it felts unfinished

If this is the end, i am disappointed.It still has so many unfolded stories , things to explain and wars to fight. Hope to see another season but i guess there won't be and if there is will it be with another whole cast and after 5 years huh?

Hello guys, im interested in this drama but comments say subs sucks. Can you write to me if you know where to watch with good subs ( if you dont want for the the website to be known in public you can write me personally) Also the athmosphere looks suitable for litte romance but i couldn't see in tags, is there a little bit romance in it?

As i may not be interesed in this kind of dramas, i won't be voting for the time being for it to be more fair. I skipped A LOT, otherwise i would drop it .It didn't make sense sometimes but let's focus on the emotions. It really felt relatable sometimes and heartwarming. And none of the characters were perfect which is nice. But also they were so cringe and annoying from time to time. Espicially it was hard to watch first few eps. I hated lawyer and her bf's scenes. She was arrogant and he was like loser. And his entire family is so annoying. Bu it got better with time. Youngest daughter's story was to most unnecessary and boring one for me. I mostly started this drama for the actor and middle daughter couple but it started soooo much later and was kind of weak and weird as they thought to be siblings. Even if it was revealed later, the situation is still weird...This was not a bad drama but didn't impress me as much as well. Anyone interested in this kind of topic should give it a try i think.

I don't know which are family weekend drama, i just watch according to plot or characters. I gave another chance to a family drama which is My Father Is Strange. It was sometimes hard to watch that one as well but when comparing this two acting and plot was much better. So now i know that im not judging this one unfairly and it really was a disappointment for me. But if i was someone fond of family drama i could enjoy this one like you. I just tried to watch this one as i liked main leads so this was a bad and cringe drama for me even if not for most of you.

I meant the characters that survived in the drama. I wanted to see their lifes,pics,families etc after the war. And i also appreciate that they gave importance to real students/ teacher of those time at the end of the drama 😁

This drama lacks a lot of things.It took some time for me to get used to it's bad cinematography,espicially aircraft battle scenes.And there were a lot of flaws with the plot as well. Sometimes you need to leave your brain to feel at ease while watching. Some actings are great and some are meh but it wasn't a big problem.I think not every character was explained enough and ending wasn't very satisfying.But it still doesn't deserve this low rating. Considering the average rating in mydramalist , this should be 7,5-8. My rating would be 7-7.5 but i think i will rate it 8 or 8,5 to make it fair and raise the rating. I like this time of period's dramas. I enjoyed their friendship and family relationships.I am a fan of these emotions and get really bored when only romance.This has nice amount of romance even though i skipped some of their scenes. I also was expecting more from other couples.Espicially they could give more screen time for second main leads.The development was weird and they didn't even show them. I have big disappointments for this drama but it still was a nice journey. I recommend Youth in the flames of war.Time period and even most of the places are same but focused on more education. Actings and cinematography is better.

Both changed actor/actress was my reason to start this series. I also enjoy LJG's acting and kind of believe he will suit this series. But the actress didn't make any impression on me and even though she won't be like original Tanya, i hope it still will be satisfactory.

Im glad romance is light, seeing all the comments generally are on love i was hesitant.Not that im against romance but i wouldn't want to see comments focusing on it when there is whole plot. I actually don't know much about that era too but i don't care much cuz it is not my country's history and rather than educational purposes i will watch it for the feeling of that times.I will try to judge the drama's history only 😂It is also good this is not pure comedy, including tragedy and other stuffs.Thank you for your reply, now im more warm to this drama and consider watching it ✨

Hello guys im confused about this show. I am more into serious historical series with light romance which is not the main focus.I want to see the impact of war and politics on people's life in the drama. It should be realistic and i would like to see bromance and friendships. It should also emotionally affect me. As it is war time drama, i expect some tragedy for it to be realistic.This drama has high rating but i saw the comments mostly talking about love stuff which is sad for me. I watched Battle of Changsha and youth in the flames of war and enjoyed them (both in the similar times but ww2). According to what i told, would you recommend this? You can recommend another dramas as well, i appreciate.

I generally don't like fantastic asian series but this one has a different place in my heart that it made me wait so long 🤣If they make another season, we probably will have wrinkles lol

Bro...I was in last year of my high school when i first watched and now i will be in my lasy year of uni. Waited so long for it, hope it worths ahahhaha I loved the previous cast but now i get used to the change. But still missing the old Tanya...

I am a type of person who can get bored quickly with lovey dovey scenes. This drama has the right amount of romance in it for me. Main focus was on importance of education,life of common people,students and teachers which i enjoyed a lot as a university student. It kind of made me wanting to work harder. I find dramas that explains this period of time very inspirational. I don't enjoy the time I live and think my soul lives in the past times so i always find myself watching historical dramas to soothe my soul as i struggle to find reasons to continue my life happily. This drama added to too much to me and i am happy to watch it even though it was kind of low rated and has really bad subtitles. I felt like the scenes sometimes didn't connect well, i guess there were cutten scenes and i think they affected the drama badly as i found some interactions between characters lacking.Also I would be happier if they could show us the survived ones pics from the later years. This drama is both happy and sad. Sometimes you may need tissue as it is a war themed drama. But i will advise you guys to watch this drama that tells stories of students whose battlefields are classrooms and weapons' are pens...
I also recommend Battle of Changsha , this drama also happens in the same times but from a different aspect.

I know i know, im not on the same wavelength with most people especially in dramas. So im used to this situation. What i search in dramas is different from most of the kdrama watchers. I don't know the one you mentioned but if it is worse than this, thanks for warning so i will stay away from that one as well.
