Chi cheng in the novel is a sadist mf, thank god they watered down his character a lot in the show I honestly like this version of him more. The nc scenes were sure smutty and spicy and I didn't find them romantic like at all its pure smut type

Nah I wasn't hoping for a full blown nc scene but I was hoping for a longer scene with some flirting and a kiss perhaps, the bts kinda looked fun so. But anyway I am not disappointed with the skinship in this series, chemistry is terrific!!!

I think zi yu looks like ryan ding in some scenes. Specially that one ep where he had side parted hair with glasses, he was reminding me of ryan ding from moonlight drama
