Oh nice article!
The toilet scenes are the very first thing I noticed in K-dramas/ movies. I noticed it since the beginning,in my second K-drama Boys over flowers then in my first K-movie 100 days with Mr arrogant. I was specially grossed out by 100 days with Mr arrogant because it was so visual and plus the sound lol. Then I watched My princess and I was like ok toilet scenes is a "must have" I guess. I still notice it and I can't tell I enjoy it, for me it's like the drunk scenes = not the kind of humour I like, but yeah some are funny...

This drama left me with mixed feelings. The music was really good, the setting, the sceneries and the costumes were awesome. But as somebody already pointed out, the story started kind of nice but then it got boring specially the 3 last episodes. I was like wth happened?!!!

I really liked Yuko and Domeki. Humm so for me I guess it was kind of ok. With the quality of the show I am glad that it was only a 8 episodes drama.

This show is hilarious and the 30 minutes format is perfect!

Cute and funny drama. Good acting from everyone but specially from Yamamoto Yusuke, Miura Shohei and Kurosawa Ryohei. Yamamoto's character was hilarious lol. I just wish there was more Daito Shunsuke. Oh well... Anyhow I really enjoyed this drama.

This drama have to be the best drama on the face of the universe. Ok I guess I am overreacting a little... because it was that good!
More seriously this drama was really cute and heartwarming. All the actors were great but the father was exceptional. I really liked all the different Akira's from the youngest to the older, the younger ones being my favourites. I cried, I laugh and overall I had a good time. I recommand it.

PS : I wanted to add that I am not trying to convince you since (for me) neither of us are wrong. It's just different opinions based on different perspectives which in IMHO is a good thing.

I am not sure that my level of english will help me to convey what I want to say but I will try. I have no doubt that the real Dae Jang Geum (IRL) was an historical and smart figure and I am sure that if she went as far as she went it's because she was very intelligent and have a force of character that helped her to overcome whatever BS that came her way.

Nonetheless the way it was portrayed made me see HER CHARACTER as stupid NOT HER but the STORYLINE and the way it was played, so to my point of view this has nothing to do with the real person. For me THE CHARACTER DID did stuffs to endanger people and made bad decisions. Althou this is based on a true story this is still a fiction. This is just my opinion so please do not take it personnally. To me the character in this particular drama was "stupid" for lack of a better word and again for me this has nothing to do with the real DJG.

I am so excited for this drama that I will put it on hold after watching the first episode. I'll wait for the entire drama to air and to be SUBBED before watching because I am not sure I will be able to go one with only 1 episode a week. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Oh?!! You think that Jang Geum from Jewel in the palace is a smart lead? I didn't think so when I watched the drama. She is the very reason why I dropped this drama. I do think that she IS a (very) stupid character. Because of her poeple died and go hurt (several times!!!). She is slow and often do stupid things and make nonsense decisions. But thats just me. Maybe she is just not my type of heroine.

The last in date for me is Izawa Riiko from Zettai Kareshi. So dense and so stupid, I fast forwarded toward the end because I couldn't stand the character anymore. Ok the male lead was also stupid and dense but at least he had the excuse to be a robot. Also I agree about the one from Personal taste and You're beautiful.

Oui c'est vrai que ça fait plaisir de voir la France ici ou là dans les dramas ou dans les films :P

Dans la capitale il y a bp bp de choses à voir mais qd on y habite on ne prend pas forcément le temps de visiter. J'habite à 10 minutes de Paris et ça fait une éternité que je n'ai pas pris le temps de visiter quoique ce soit. Je voyage souvent et je connais plus d'endroits ds d'autres pays ou je suis déjà allée plusieurs fois que à Paris.

Mais mon objectif pour les prochains mois est de visiter Paris en long et en large et ensuite d'autres régions de France. Et qd tu as parlé de "jolies images de Paris" ça a renforcé mon objectif :)

I didn't like this drama. The older sister was totally bullying and abusive of the little sister and in disguise of comedy they totally sell it as being a normal thing which I think it is not. No character growth whatsoever for any of the person involved. (I don't consider what I wrote as a spoiler since this is the very description in the synopsis).

Anyway as every person is different, you should try it for yourself and see if you like it! :)
