My thoughts after 8 episodes:Kim Do ha has really bad luck with woman. Mom, selfish. First girlfriend, clingy…
I totally agree with you! Especially with the remark. I think she can only hear that someone is not speaking 'their' truth/belief. However, I feel it's weird that she starts to trust Kim Do Ha after her ex told her that the reason is sometimes more important than the lie itself.. Like yes, but also it does not change the fact that he 'killed' someone.. I mean that thought should have only changed her perception of her ex, but instead (ofc) she connected it to the ML..
She also spoke in a language I'm fluent at in ep1 or 2 & it was decent to the point that I suspect they might've…
You are right that it is not an easy task. I believe that they could find some languages or sentences that were easier to learn for a Korean person because these languages (at least Hungarian) are not commonly studied by people whose mother language is different, so it feels very random that they went with Hungarian except if the actress had less difficulty in pronunciation. However it might be a lot of work to choose a language based on this, so maybe they just fixed her accent - but then why did they not fix it a bit better?
yeahhhh the last Episode is not it. if they would have given me a happier episode overall with some romance or…
uhg yes, i dont really get that episode.. like okay i guess i understand why they did it but still could have been an internal conflict and not a memory loss...
Why is slow burn romance tagged to this drama? I mean okay there was some tension between the leads, but its misleading as nothing really happened. Also, am I the only one who expected a little bit more romance at the end (like after some years)? Or maybe the last scene showed that there is in fact something going on? Other than the romancepart, I dont relly like the fact that all cases were connected to one man.. I expected something more exciting, but I guess with most dramas they try to blame everything on one "bad person". (Like it was expected that the uncle/dad of the ML is not "super bad", but he had "a good reason" to act the way he did).. I am not sure why it is the case in many dramas, they always try to justify the actions of the "father figures".. (Most importantly ofc in historic pieces)
