It's not funny to have second lead syndrome all the time.
Thats why I said unpopular op, but hah trust me I wouldnt choose to feel this way if I could. And actually I havent watched anything with 2ndls in a long time so whatever
Read the comic and you will change your opinion quickly lol, trust me. Obviously idk how they gonna make his character…
Well I made my comment based on the show. Here he didnt seemed like a bad person, when the ML asked if it was possible that one of them developed feelings, he looked like he might have had.. But ofc maybe hes a really bad person it just doesnt look like that until now
Why does it only have a score of 8? I mean many worse dramas have 8.3-8.5 rating...
Yes, I agree with you. I liked the beginning, because I dont bother watching dramas without any meaningful story, I mean it is great to watch something only for romance, but its better if it has a backstory. I guess this drama was more focused on romance in the last few eps, but it wasnt only enjoyable because of it. (eg the chefs career with many turns or the gangsters were a big part of it too, in my opinion more important than the romance)
Am I the only one who gets Cha Eun Woo vibes from Hwang Min Hyun? Also, started to miss him bc of this show.. (maybe miss the True Beauty era as well? However my heart still aches for Han Seo Jun..)
The one word that describes this drama perfectly is swoon-worthy (mostly because the Chinese-Korean dishes look so fantastic that one always gets hungry while watching). I loved everything about this drama, I literally never finish anything, because it gets boring after ep 8-9, but with this drama it felt different, the story had many turns and the main leads were killing it! I loved the romance, the main leads had so much chemistry (the kissing scenes were something, really). I was worried at the beginning that they would take the love triangle too far, but fortunately it was well written. I could watch Jun Ho and Ryeo Won cook for eternity. Im going to miss watching this drama :((
I mean the person his character portrayed became king in real life so that's the only path they could take so...…
Yes, his love for the FL made him likeable (and made the drama much more interesting to watch). Because of his mood swings I was never sure what to expect from him.. I was really shocked when he let her go. That was the scene where we learnt the depth of his love :( For a brief moment I could forgive him all the crimes he had done.. From then on I liked him more :) ofc his good looks also helped sympathising with him :P
A sequel, what a great idea, I wish there was one!
