Drama with a main lead who is not a rich male heir/or from a chaebol family? Nope, he'll turn out to be Gyu Hyun's…
Right.. I hope he won't get a higher position than the current CEO. I'd be annoyed actually if the SML was replaced by the ML.. (but judging from the ML's personality he'd not accept anything like that)
Is it that good? Because I am hesitating to start it. I am not really into Noona romance and the ML,.. I dropped…
Eps 1-2 were good, then 3-4 were not as good in my op. However, ep 5 is again better. It's not realistic (meaning that it has a lot of 'coincidences') but has some new elements compared to 'pure' romances (eg the FL and her friends talk about sexual matters openly). I do not mind the age gap, and it is not highlighted so far. I like how mature LND is (well.. mostly) - NGNL is much more light-hearted.
Hoping that the second leads get more screen time! Loving their dynamic so much! I love how this show matured after the first two episodes! It's getting better with each ep:))
Loving this so far!! The 3 friends are so good:)) Finally, we don't have a 'plain' and 'shy' FL.. Kindof reverse roles between FL and ML?? If they keep this up, then it would be soo good
Pls explain what is progressive about this show? Because they insisted way to much on the beating desire of the…
I meant that usually in romcoms the FL/SFL are not exactly smart, well-situated, independent, or rich. Also, I liked the introduction of the SML, in a romcom it was unusual for me. All in all, the female characters are more interesting to me than the male characters - the writer seems to balance out the characters as much as possible. But ofc the must-have scenes of romcoms are nothing new - however, there is still hope that it'll be a bit different considering the more equal setting of the ml and fl. (i was thinking this after watching the first ep, and now cant really recall anything else on the spot)
I am probably older than you and I think the Mom line is borderline disgusting. Why is it comedy when a mother…
Agreed. I think that the writer wanted to make a contrast between the ml and the mother - and deepen the connection of the main leads. In my op the writer could not find a better excuse for them to bond suddenly, which is very sad. + I think it is a trend in kdramas that they make the 'dad' figure more likable / justify his actions rather than show a healthy mother-daughter relationship.
I don't know why but Jung Hae In's vibe feels so different in a romcom. It somewhat looks like the FL and him…
I haven't watched any shows of the ml lately and was wondering if he can act or not, bc here he's just not very good so far.. (i think he was good in while you were sleeping and that was a romcom as well)
