I am reading 2ha novel and it seems that from ch1 there are explicit moments between the leads and throughout the novel - My reason of comparing it with WOH is that if Immortality will be able to make us feel all those emotions of love between the leads and not the bromance - There are tons of bromance dramas/ series out there but none of them have been so impacting as WOH in terms of its reflecting the right emotions of love :) - But lets see how it goes :)

Ohh ! Now I worry about the script for this drama - WOH has set such a high bar , I wonder if Immortality will do justice to the original story .

Isnt Shi Mei a guy in the novel ? why is there a girl in the cast of Immortality ? Any ideas ?

The scriptwriter has mentioned that she does not like to add any unnecessary love interests if they are not in the original novel - which is how it should be to maintain the core essence of the story :) - A very authentic adaptation from the original source :)

WKX as a long lost junior of ZZS is added story in the drama - This was mainly to circumvent the censors so as to show shidi / shixiong relationship in the drama .

Has anyone observed whenever there is an intimate scene between ZZS and WKX , the director just keeps it very short and not prolong / stretch the scene which we would normally find in BG dramas - I find this such a clever move so as not to rub it in the authorities :)

I dont mind the same cast as Word of Honor - Gong Jun and Zang Zhe han - They work off each other very well - Amazing chemistry :D

ha ha !!! they are snippets of each chapter - more like summary of each chapter - but this tells us the director seems to be very faithful to the source material which is quite rare these days when making a BL series - I personally like to know both the original source material and its visual adaptation to clear out any misunderstanding about the characters and the story and have a better opinion about the series as a whole :) .

I am a big fan of Thai BL series / dramas and I was pleasantly surprised to know that Thai normal dramas can be better too and this was definitely a good find - This drama is so amazingly written and adapted that it makes me want to read the original novel - A very unique representation of the Thai culture and traditions - An absolute delight !!!

Though I have watched most of the dramas in this list but I really loved the synopsis even more by soju :) - Keep them coming with fresh new set of list :)
