Give me a reason..I have listed my reasons below. And this is not the first Cdrama I have watched. So stop your BS. If u like this show good for you. Stop imposing the same on others. And not sure if u r..but if u r not familiar with shows from other countries. Start watching all those and see where it lacks. Being a blind fan is not a justification for blabbering anything.

In the first place...Why that character is written so shallow. Without any depth...That husband character was created only for us audience to mock at. There is no other puprose. Thats lazy writing. I am not saying make the husband a saint or something all the times. If the character is bad write it in such a way that its believable or relatable. Even though they intended to write a sleazy character, then do it right way. Seem like they didn't even given an iota of effort in creating that character.

Dropping after 15+ episodes.. Disappointed...
Waited for months to get it broadcasted. But not worth the hype. SO boring...

When will the directors realize, not only the lead characters matters...WTH is happening with her friend and brother. They have put effort on only the leads...And stop trying to justify everything in the name of feminism and all...The relationship between the friend and brother of FL is not good. Why they are dragging it out and blaming it on the guy. The writers are trying so hard to make that character look petty.
So disappointed with this drama after completing first 10 episodes itself.

Boring...bad acting...and FL character kinda irked me a lot..was testing my patience

Honestly I didn't find the acting too bad. May be coz I am not from korea. But...

The script is just crap. I dont have any issue with slow pacing narration of a story, but then u should be able to give space to everyone and everything. Here only some one dimensional view point was given without even much of a thought. The saving grace and the only story line that made sense was SFL, Mi sook. Her story was well substantiated atleast. Unnecessary drama and divorce for FL's parents just coz the title of drama is 'Now, We Are Breaking Up'. The lady's claims doesn't even made any sense. You spent 40 years with someone but still u were not able to open up with him. Trying desperately to make her character pitiful. There was no need for the same, Even if u do so, atleast do some scenes in context. Just the way it was done for Misook.
The ML's mom atleast had a reason to do or say everything which made sense even though it is kinda biased. But from her standpoint its understandable.
Even at the end for Main Leads there wasn't enough reason for them to break up. It felt like since the title suggests we have to break up..LOL

The main culprit is Script/Story. There wasn't enough for actors to salvage there. Speaking of chemistry with this plot I dont blame the actors. The characters connects to the audience first thorugh the story only.

Thats what I was also impying..as u said both had mistakes...and the story kinda blamed on guy only in the second half. And most relationships breaks not because of just the one person.

Sorry to say Its hard to accept Fls justifications from second half..not coz its not valid. But mainly coz she never expressed it to ML properly when they were married. Then what the hell is marriage for..??And later blaming everything on ML is not the right way. Both are equally guilty

I am not familiar with Cdrama actors.. So I honestly cannot judge them..but this time they have put their hand on a risky one. Coz Oh My Venus had an outstanding chemistry between leads where the love story was developed organically. It never felt forced there and the actors also have done a marvelous job in portraying the same. Even the supporting characters had their own importance, they were never outshined by the Leads or any one character. It does had a great mixture and also such a feel good story without any unwanted complications.

I just hope they dont ruin the show...coz Oh My Venus was such an excellent show..both story wise and also the actors in every cast was marvellous...I haven't seen a lot of remakes that worked well in Cdramas from Kdramas

Its rare to see such a good ML and FL...Its more common in drama's that the ML will make a mistake and regrets and put efforts to redeem...kinda thing...Felt really good to see both ML and FL having such good understanding...Definitely having high rewatch value...10/10 for casting...

Honestly this one tested my patience...What a colossal waste of time...All the characters done excellent job in irritating to max..Except that gay friend of FL..

Liked the first half but the ending was kinda not good...Last few episodes were she is breaking up..Didn't get the reason for that..I Mean if she knows and loves him...why to make him suffer...And giving a message like marriage is bad...Didn't match with the first half though...

oh...ok...that explains...I haven't read the novel though...But many of the drama's or films in any language is an adaptation from some fictions or novels like these...But the decisive factor is how well the crew can portray it on screen..Not the responsibility of actors only...director and screenpIay writers should be diligent primarily... didn't see any character development in both the leads...and honestly the reasonings were a bit absurd..started off well as u said..

Downloaded the subs from subscene I guess..some subtitle website...andd watched online by uploading that srt...

sorry to say this...but the FL is too clingy and the reasons ML gave for pushing her away is completely valid..Why should she opt something just for the sake of ML..and No that doesn't mean how much she loves him..The last few episodes were not that good..Like him chasing her that too dragged a lot...was expecting that the leads handle things in a mature way..

Could have made the character of cha seung won a bit more seriously...rather than making him a laughing stock most of the times....And couldn't wrap my head around the relationship between him and his ex wife...kind of started in a serious note and for no reason went on a comedic track...the same atitude was there by writers for many of the supporting characters...Overall an average flick with a brilliant start but not so same remaining tracks...

If you hate angst, stupid decisions and don't want to be frustrated or don't like arrogant (and often rude) but strong female lead - avoid it.

Never felt her as a strong female lead...Her friend was actually a strong character in the second half after divorce and all...She became independent and was living her life...
At no part I felt like the FL was strong...she was annoying at most of the times...
Even the friend of her's who betrayed her was telling one thing right...She had everyone taking care of her but still she had to take the most stupid decisions and never even sincerely apologize for it...
Even if the ML is suspicious of her its justifiable under the circumstances...But many of her actions were really dumb...

So a character that dumb I dont feel like giving her the title of Strong FL...Being arrogant and frustrating Or just because she is says things without caring anything doesn't make any character strong..

I don't blame the brother-in-law completely for the degression in their marital life. Her dad was really over bearing. Obviously she unknowingly neglected that and once u cheat its hard to comeback from that. Add to that FLs sister was a very sweet person, just that she missed some timings in identifying the problems in her relationship. And considering the fact that they were married for 15 years[as per subs], the outburst of the guy there was kinda genuine, just because the guy cheated we can't overlook those things he said. ya...can say that should have communicated properly instead of a final outburst like that...but relationship is a two way street and a marital relationship of scuch long years and haven't tried to communicate these things..that wasn't clear there.
The writers put a lot of effort in making him a very bad guy in the second half and for me that was not convincing enough. Their arc definitely needed an exploration much deeper instead of making him an ultimate bad guy. His character seemed more like hastily developed just for the sake of making anyone bad here. That too given so much screentime but still looked like halfbaked.
What I am saying is eventhough we can collectively blame the guy for cheating but we cannot ignore the scenes before that...Cheating which ended in divorce was not coz of lust alone.....as shown in the dramas usually instead was just one of the factors. Atleast it seemed like that...
Noway justifying his act of cheating...
But seriously nobody can stand any of the parents portrayed in the drama.

Before anyone firing on me ... I am talking abt the drama, characters and screenplay..in a technical aspect not in a real life scenario..

Am I the only one who didn't get the logic behind deceiving Pat in all this plan..What was the need for it?? At the end felt more like he didn't deserve her..
