Early Review
The first episode of Spring Fever tries very hard to be mysterious and romantic… a little too hard 😅. Instead of clearly telling the story, it keeps too many secrets. We don’t know much about Bom’s sad past, Jae-gyu’s real job, or why they seem connected already. The show keeps saying “Wait and see!” but forgets to make us feel something right now. Because of this, the episode feels more like a long introduction than an exciting start.
But don’t worry — the actors save the day 👍. Lee Joo-bin does a great job showing Bom as both a quiet, broken teacher and a confident woman from her past. Ahn Bo-hyun looks scary at first, but surprise! He’s actually soft and sweet underneath (classic rom-com move 😌).
Even though the story feels a bit messy in episode one, the chemistry between the leads and all the unanswered questions make it clear: Spring Fever might get much better once the romance really starts 🌸💖.
