With episodes 7 and 8, The Atypical Family has taken a turn for the better! This episode had many heartwarming scenes that not only informed viewers about Da-hae’s history but also added depth to Da-hae and Gwi-ju’s relationship.Moreover, apart from Dong-hee’s character, which comes across as the least interesting in the show, we understand all the other characters in more detail. For instance, this episode revealed the tension in Man-heum and Song-gu’s relationship, where Man-heum doesn’t trust him enough to tell him the password to the vault. She also takes him for granted, leading Song-gu to seek importance elsewhere.The interactions between the Bok family and the sauna family are another great addition to the storyline. For instance, even though Dong-hee’s character in isolation isn’t anything remarkable, her budding friendship with Grace is quite heartening. Similarly, Hyun-tae and I-na’s new friendship in the episode is another instance of such an interaction.Overall, the episode was quite enjoyable with thoughtful dialogues, entertaining execution, and touching scenes.

the series is exceeding expectations and is living up to its reputation as one of the most anticipated K-dramas of the year. The chemistry between the characters feels like a warm hug, leaving us giggling and kicking their feet in delight. The lessons and encouraging words exchanged between characters provide comfort and are bound to resonate deeply with viewers. Moreover, the twists in the plot have been executed brilliantly so far. Lovely Runner is progressing at a fantastic pace, and hopefully, it will maintain this momentum in the episodes to come.

This episode gives us a bit more insight on Yoon Eun-sung and we do not like what we see. It seems as though he may have a more sinister plan in his mind when it comes to Hae-in as well as the Queens group. With his typical ‘evil second lead’ behaviour of inciting jealousy from Hyun-woo and leaving Hae-in feeling doubtful about her marriage, it may not have to do with his love for her but rather a revenge plan. But what could it be?On the other hand, we love Hae-in in this episode! She is finally showing emotions besides anger and we are here for it! She looks like a school girl, with the way she blushes, thinking about Hyun-woo. She also shows her empathetic side even more with the employees and other people in her vicinity. While she thinks it is unnatural for her to feel for others, we love that she is finally breaking out of her empty shell of being just a businesswoman. She is still materialistic and hot-headed but it seems like her cold heart is melting a little, thanks to Hyun-woo, his sweet personality and his impressive physique.

The first half of this episode was pretty laid back and filled with rom-com moments. You get the romantic angle of not just our main couple, but also Bok-gyu and Da-jeong. It is in the second half that things get interesting as we realise why Seok-min was trying to be so considered to Do-hee. And the last revelation was really something that caught me off guard. Now, what happens to Do-hee, we will have to find out in the next episode.

The plot thickens and now we finally have an answer to who is the real villain. The first half was definitely sweet and happy as Do-hee and Gu-won experienced a much-needed lovey-dovey time. But that comes to an end with the info that the killer was not the main culprit. And now, in the end, we see that Do-hee will have to die for Gu-won to live. Such despair! Only the future will tell what might happen to both of them. But yes, definitely stay tuned for the next episode. The series is streaming on Netflix right now.

They just delivered another rollercoaster of an episode that very nicely plays with our emotions. In the beginning, you will feel agitated about how everything is going south for our pair, and by the end, you will be left a blushing mess because of that one intense kiss. Like seriously, this pair is absolutely perfect. Apart from that, I feel Do-gyeong might not be the original villain, and he is being used just to throw us off. All in all, I am expecting another great episode next week, where we will now witness more romance than ever.

We finally got a wedding, our demon and Mirae Group princess decided to tie the knot! It took them long enough, but this is where it gets more interesting. The scene where Gu-won saves Do-hee is a clear sign that he is falling deeper than he cares to admit

Episode 5 ended on a literal cliffhanger as Do Do Hee fought for her life while hanging from the balcony of her home, after being attacked. Jung Gu Won sweeps in just in time, and right before Ju Seok-hoon (Lee Sang-yi), to save his lady love

Bad-Memory Eraser Episode 3 solidifies the tone of the K-drama as we get a ton of comedy, an undertone of romance and a touch of mental health issues.But if episode 1 has been any indication, the K-drama is not afraid to get heavy when needed to deal with sensitive issues which we are sure will arise once again when Gun learns the truth about everything. But we hope that is way later, at the end of the show. Let the poor guy be happy, the last 2 decades have not been kind to him.As for the characters, Gun is a solid rom-com male lead, Shin is already about to give us second lead syndrome and the parents are annoying but we see glimpses of their humanity.Unfortunately for Ju-yeon, while she is funny at times, she is still quite unlikeable. Sure, we get that she’s supposed to be the typical no-nonsense, blunt and sassy workaholic with a heart of gold. But if the writers are not careful, she will end up leaning more towards the annoyance than the loveable spectrum.

While the flashbacks try to give us an insight into Hong-ju and Hu-yeong’s relationship from when they were younger, it gives us all the more reason to get mad at Hong-ju for not seeing all the signs that Hu-yeong had been in love with her. Considering the things that he did for her like following her to a different town where she can give her love letter to her crush, Hu-yeong is in his loser boyfriend era and we are seated for it.I am sure the end of this episode will set their romance into motion. Considering how Mr Sohn is a PE Teacher and Hye-ji is an English Teacher, this makes them a part of the classic rumour that every high schooler believed to be true. It would be so fun to see them together.From the look of it, CEO Baek and CEO Bae seem to be having their own enemies-to-lovers romance considering their shared parking spot was causing them to have arguments. It makes me sad that the only person left behind in all this is Sang-pil who only makes delicious meals for his friends. Our boy, Lee Won-jung came all this way after Hierarchy only to be the mom of the group!

Phew! This episode was long but it was full of so many cute moments. Well, we know why this show is called “Serendipity’s Embrace” because there are so many coincidences that bring Hu-yeong and Hong-ju together. Moments where Hu-yeong is acting all cool around Hong-ju only for him to smile when she is not looking are the most heart-fluttering ones in this show so far.I love the chemistry these two have together and I pray that Hong-ju’s romance with Hu-yeong won’t hamper her friendship with Hye-ji. The way Hye-ji stood up for Hong-ju in front of her cousin – Joon-ho is heartwarming. Meanwhile, there is nothing Joon-ho can do to redeem himself after how he left Hong-ju at the airport. The man has some guts to leave the country without telling his girlfriend that he is moving abroad to work on his new novel.I find the flashback moments between Hu-yeong and Hong-ju very endearing. I am hoping for this show to give us a happy ending because it will be terrible to see Hu-yeong leave to go back to the USA with his heart broken

The Atypical Family is surely atypical, and we are here for it! In this episode, our fears about Gwi-ju’s mutating powers suggesting that he might die saving Da-hae from the fire have come true. Apart from the suspense this addition creates, the scenes involving Dong-hee and her comeback are probably the best that her character has experienced in the show.As we thought, Il-hong did care about Da-hae! We would have loved to see more of their dynamics, which fall quite short of how it’s executed in the series. Moreover, this episode had some insightful dialogues. For instance, when Da-hae tells Man-heum, “You can’t change your dreams, but you can choose how to interpret them. Your dream may not have shown you everything. Perhaps you were too afraid to see everything clearly. So please, keep on dreaming.”

Alas the plot thickens. We see more romance now as Kang Ha and Jae-i grow closer but damn, their chemistry is almost non-existent. In fact, their scenes together are rather awkward and whether this is a result of Jae-i being “stifled” from her emotions or the mismatch of leads is up for debate.More intriguing however, are the supporting characters. Chan-min is an illusive character and his nickname and the way he can slip in and out of situations (not to mention knowing the cover-up about In-han) makes him a prime candidate for knowing who caused the hit and run. Is he the blackmailer?We still don’t know the full extent of this, and to be fair it may even be completely unconnected to the whole affair with In-han. We’ll have to wait and see on that front! However, the drama is just starting to heat up and it’s anyone’s guess quite where this one will go next!

The politics between the two teaching academies is taking all the fun out of this exciting drama. We can clearly see that the students themselves were not happy about the surprise lecture which turned out to be extremely boring for them. On the other hand, Si-woo had so much fun with his personalised class that he is contemplating switching to Daechi Chase for good.The romance between Jun-ho and Hye-jin is brewing now as we can see Jun-ho thinking about all his happy moments with Hye-jin from when they were younger. He was falling for her then and hopefully will realise his feelings for Hye-jin in the episodes to come.It is also visible how Hye-jin also wanted to talk to Jun-ho as she kept looking at her phone after their argument. I am hoping for the show to be extremely romantic with little to no melodrama because there is nothing that stands in the way of this romantic couple.
