I think she really is their daughter lol, a twin of the boy Shao Gong, maybe others would think why would they leave it instead of bring it with them, first hurdle the ongoing war, the urgency of of really going to fight, second hurdle, the Second Madam Ge who used the Old Deity divination (her actually plan was to let them leave the baby boy but did not expect to have a twin and that's Shao Shang (so there's a kinda plot twist to the Ge's plot), remember she(Yuanyi) is a military person too, and go with the lesser casualties/risk kinda if there's no way out, although she did left her there and it's 15 years it still won't justify for what happened to Shao Shang, but now Shao Shang is in the Hua County she might grew an understanding as to what her parents has to go through although it won't be easy to forgive or what Shao Shang is growing for the better....
