When I watched original one everything feel very real but kdrama like always have one stereotype procession exaggerating things I think for better comparison u should watch original one cause it's so clear even at first episode I feel bored normally I love to watch remake dramas but for this no just like boys over flowers japanese version is the best kinda is original ...but if u like it it's okay for me Chinese one is more sincere u can feel family bond more , u feel tradition, neighborhood that's why I appreciate more.

Okay,let me tell u I watched yanxi palace then I start to watching story of minglan like 40 episodes but story is in slow pace kinda find boring and dropped but some people find minglan better than yanxi to me for quick attachment yanxi is far better

Yeah I will give chance to joy of life cause obviously has high rate in here,empress in the palace I heard and checked it (but the emperor is so old😁)and empress is the baddie so need time for that,ruyi was little slow pace so watched 24 EP and dropped I watched the anime season one love it but after some months I don't wanna watch season 2 anymore but I will definitely check flourish peony thanks for recommending

After watched story of yanxi palace I m struggling to find a drama to watch like I can't stand childish behaviors, misunderstanding , transmigration to novels type of drama I also watched 2 episode joy of life and dropped😅 maybe one day I will give one more chance in future I want to watch something not forgettable
I swear I never feel anything to fuheng and yinglou like boring cliches except for the last episode I just watch 10 seconds of emperor and wei yinglou clip I said I m gonna watch this no matter what(generally I don't finish dramas feel bored easily) I just focused my main ship and never look back especially main lead was not baby face but manly man FL was not gorgeous with filter face so much more enjoyable
