to be completely honest. I honestly think that's what should've happened in that drama
I'm not saying there's a right/wrong. And i do agree. This conversation is unnecessary on this forum. But it's a topic you initiated.
You seem to imply that i do not have anything i value more than my life or that i place my survival above other things. Hence you keep inferring that our core values are different. That's not the case. I'm simply more strict in how I value things. And I simply place more weight onto what i say i value.
The difference between us is. You're perspective is very romantic while mine is more practical.
Really? Hare-kon? It's basically just a story of a girl who was forced into marrying a dude who already have 2 wives and being psychologically manipulated into accepting the man as her lover.... I'd imagine the psychology of stockholm syndrome... It's really kinda trash... Take it from me... I'm a dude who loves a good harem story. but this ain't it.

My mom once told me. It's stupid for a man to sacrifice his life for a woman because you'd be dead and some other dude will come and marry your woman.
That was her way of telling me people move on with their lives. Your parents die. Your friends die. Even your lover dies. Despite momentary sadness, you who are still alive will continue to move on with your life.

Maybe i'm old fashion. But my impression of punishment is for people who do bad things to die. Living to old age searching for some abstract form of happiness that could or could not truly be there... Now that's just regular living.
I'm not gonna lie. This Drama is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's one of those dramas that mechanically is just straight up bad... But i love it... The simplicity of it. The obvious plot mechanics. The straightforward storytelling and how noticeably unimportant the other characters are to the plot.. Everything. Nothing about it is great in any way... But i would be damn if i didn't say i loved it... This story is like your one kid you loved to death and wonder why not everybody love him/her as much as you do. Then you look at your kid and you just know why...
Undoubtedly one of the most underrated finest Chinese drama actresses. This is one of those actresses that should…
Her only lead role have been Goodbye my princess involving a relatively hopeless girl getting push around by the life. In it, she plays the damsal and distress better than most actress i've seen in cdrama. I would be interested to see if she has the range to play a more sophisticated character. If nothing else. I could watch 40 hours of her just crying and not be bored haha~
The only thing i don't like about her is her age... Her being recognized at 28 years old means she's going to be overlooked for lead roles that gives preference to a younger cast TT_TT.... tbh... I would watch the crap out of anything she's acting in... It's a pity she wasn't recognized when she was younger so we have more dramas of her.... I've already watched goodbye my princess 3 times...
That spoilers at the end was a legit spoilers lol. She tries to assassinate him and fails. He falls in love with her. She's kinda interested in him but feels like she's betraying her friend. Anyways she ruined his empire and the guy died. The end. Me: *Insert pikachu face*

It is how we interpret data that is different.

The fact that this is the sequel to "one and only" kinda makes me think the couple's not gonna make it in the other drama LOL~~~
