First of all, Phaya fell down but didn't die bcoz that amulet saved him most probably cuz it has wansarut's soul, a naga. Then Phaya and Tharn met suddenly in a cave, so I have two theories on it. Firstly, maybe Phaya is hallucinating? It seems absurd but somehow just came into my mind. Secondly, Tharn might have begged to Doc to let him see Phaya for the last time before leaving him for lifetime. That's why Tharn came to spend the last moment and bid goodbye without letting Phaya know about the plan. Also, in the preview we can see that Phaya came back but he didn't see Tharn so he started searching for him.

Exactly!! I don't blame any one of the leads, cuz not every character is perfect and born with the personality that most of the viewers want to watch. And we can see here that Phaya and Tharn both have different personality which makes the whole series going on. They tend to behave from what they've seen and learnt, nobody can blame them for it. Tbh, I would've thought Phaya crazy too and if I was in Phaya's place, my anger issues would've done worse and good thing, both of them didn't get mad on each other unnecessarily all the time.
