I wish I had watched this earlier.. The drama’s premise is simple and perhaps for that very reason, deeply compelling.. Tomoko and Ryohei’s bond was beautiful.. Ryohei, even though he looked like a delinquent was such a sweet soul.. Caring for her came so naturally to him and I loved watching them grow close as they fell in love.. Their story is accompanied by emotional turmoil shaped by what they had to go through and what she has to face in her everyday life.. The drama is engaging, too short for my liking but still satisfying.. It’s one of those dramas that almost gaslights you into giving it high ratings because of how simple yet feel good it leaves you at the end..

Overall, this drama was beautiful, raw and romantic.. The story was so tender, no nonsense, just two souls falling in love and finding their way together.. Simply put, this was such an unexpectedly good watch..
