I know this show isn’t the greatest but I kinda love it. It’s my Friday fix. The story is woeful, it’s all over the place. I have no idea what going on half the time and there is way too much staring in the scenes. I do like the individual characters though. The actors are adorable and they give me a great escape at the weekend.
Everyone is stuck on Teh cheating on Oh, I understand and agree Oh should have left but I don’t see that as the real issue. I’m more invested in Teh and I actually think neither Jai or Oh are his problem, I think his obsession with acting is. I think he is too emotional for that type of career. He tears himself apart with every challenge or disappointment from missing out on the part when he was young to losing focus and not getting into his preferred uni, to choosing Jai because of his passion for acting that Oh lacked. He makes poor decisions and hurts himself every time. While I like Oh, his breezy attitude about life clashes with Teh’s passion (albeit misguided). Unfortunately it’s not working for Teh so I agree they are better of apart. Teh needs to find himself before he can be in a serious relationship. Oh will be fine.
To people who say a teenager wouldn't want to hang out with younger kids by their own account I want to inform…
I agree, little kids always want someone to play with and and an early teen won’t mind playing with them especially if the other option is to be around an adult. I see it all the time with kids I know. I didn’t see the back story as creepy, they were too young the flashback just showed they were close friends in the past. . It came across to me that Numsib’s affection for Gene started off as his hero and favorite person. He carried a torch for him and that developed into something more when he was able to meet Gene again. Meanwhile Gene saw him as a little brother in the past, didn’t recognize him and was attracted to him but was clearly upset because of the deceit. I really don’t get the hysteria in the comments. This episode didn’t even any of the ridiculous sound effects that plagued the earlier ones.
Beautiful story, beautifully acted, shot and directed. I hope this wins a ton of awards. It kept me well entertained. The best show (BL or otherwise) for the year so far.
I’m too chicken. I stopped watching at episode 6. I can’t deal with the suspense. I found myself watching each episode over and over trying to figure out who it is. For the sake of my sanity I’m waiting till the end to binge watch.
