Not a BL!
First off: I don't know why this drama has an LGBTQ+ tag, because it is not that. If anything, you could call it a bromance at best, but even that is stretching it. This makes the romance tag all but nonexistent.
Nowhere in this drama does anything happen between them apart from a comforting hug. Seeing as the LGBTQ+ and romance tags were the main reasons I was attracted to this drama, it was a big disappointment. The trailer did not give off that vibe either, which I found rather misleading.
The story, acting, and look of the drama are not bad, but after watching it, I just felt depressed. I don’t only watch "happy" dramas—I’ve seen plenty of violent, emotional shows like The Worst of Evil or Weak Hero Class 1 and 2—but this is just a sad and tragic story. Sure, the connection between the two MLs (male leads) is good, but it’s not enough to make the drama feel special. The story simply isn't outstanding enough to compete with other dramas. If you have no expectations or just have too much time on your hands, you can watch it, but personally, I wish I had skipped it.
