Not Quite Season 1
After watching Weak Hero Class 1, I really wanted to see the second season. Since I was late getting into this series, Season 2 was already out, so I could just binge-watch it. It starts off strong and the story is decent, but it isn’t quite as good as the first season. I also really missed the presence of Choi Hyun Wook; he and Park Ji Hoon had great chemistry that made every conversation between them feel meaningful.
The new actors this season were good, but they just couldn't hold a candle to the connection between Choi Hyun Wook and Park Ji Hoon. My favorite new actor, however, was Ryeoun, as he really impressed me with his acting skills. The story of Season 2 felt simpler than Season 1: we meet the bad guys, they turn out to belong to a bigger group of bad guys, and then that leads to an even bigger group. As expected, nothing comes easy for the protagonists, but at least we end on a happy note. All in all, it’s still a definite must-watch.
