It looks like the whole team was on some bad drugs, although that's no excuse for such a bad scenario... It looks like they found sponsors and then made 80% of the "scenario" to adapt to that. Never mind that it has nothing to do with a love story. Nine goes from being an adulterer/playboy/pretentious character to suddenly being a wonderful, loving and understanding person. I don't know if I was the only one who got that impression at the beginning, but wasn't Tee supposed to be a serial adulterer? Wasn't he the one who broke Daonue's heart by acting like that? Where did this romance, devotion, understanding come from? A friend and an ex-maybe a future lover kiss and hug in front of my eyes but I'm a cool person, I trust Daonuea??? Daonuea- I know, I don't know, I want, I don't, I like, I don't like... I honestly don't know how Nine and Tee fell in love with such a weak character. Boat and Candy? Fiercely loyal friends, I just don't know to whom?
Yeeah, someone here was definitely on a very bad trip...and I wonder if this series can go any lower?
Maybe Din survived a fall off a cliff, had plastic surgery and came back to break up a mafia organization and protect his loved one at the same time. Maybe now he is on some secret mission with that new face, maybe he was infiltrated into the mafia, that's why he wears a hood. Ken can't recognize him, but the mafia can....
I have feeling that Hyuk Jun and Heyon know each other from before. Maybe they moved in the same circles or maybe HJ went to one of Heyon's performances...I don't know...but I think they know each other...HJ had some distance with everyone and then he just jumps on the bed, wakes up Heyon and touches him freely...something is a little sus.
As for other "couples", Changyu- I think the rest of the episodes should stay in buddy mode with everyone. Changmin and Jeon Hyun should continue flirting purely to see if there is any chance to transfer that flirtation (and maybe something more) to RL as well. Eun Chan unfortunately focused on the wrong guy, I think his honesty and openness are actually his biggest flaws here. He and Cangyu wear their hearts on their palms, and that can scare many people, especially people who have experience and who have learned to wear masks throughout life.
The idea is interesting, but unfortunately the realization is bad. You wake up one day in the hospital in someone else's body in a parallel universe, you panic for two minutes, you have no memory of the owner of the body, but you know everything. And no one suspects that you suddenly behave like a different person. On the other hand, we didn't see when and how Puen woke up, how he functioned in the strange world without Talay's help. Both characters very calmly accepted everything that happened to them, they talk about the port key as the most important thing, and then it turns out that Talay and Puen are like an anomaly within an anomaly. Then the people in the association, if they already know that much, why don't that nurse and the one who founded the association go back to their own world, they've been there for who knows how long? The series is full of omissions, it shows us some unimportant things and mentions important things only in traces. But for me, the biggest flaw of this series is the lack of chemistry between the main characters.
I thougt that too. The way he brushed his eyes saying he's sleepy when in fact he brushed his tears. It's SY's…
Older guys have more life experience (I don't think that's a bad thing), and that's why Seon Yul implements the tactic: now your older brother will give you advice. Seol Yul in addition to experience, also has an enviably high level of self-confidence as soon as he is convinced that Changmin should fall for his charm.
I don't think there is a person in that house for Changyu who can give him the attention he needs. I saw a picture on his IG where he was posing with a big bouquet of flowers, I was all touched by how happy he was for such a small gesture of attention.
I felt like Seonyul wants to keep him at the door, so incase he didn't get any other guy he can open the door…
I would like them to make an introduction before each new episode, like a summary of the events of the previous day... show us some important things, who flirted with whom, who had some progress... and the opinion of all the participants about how the day went. This way everything is suddenly dry and sterile.
I think this whole collage of stories "picturesquely" describes Yun's hair color. Metallic gray, artificial and unnecessary. I love when stories have a happy ending because I think I'm an incorrigible romantic, but here I wished that most couples didn't end up together.
I don't really understand why people don't like the first couple (ep.1&2)? Those two weren't that bad. It was simply to be expected two dead fish considering how much someone tried to avoid kisses. Measles as protection against kisses???Very innovative.
I have to admit that when writing this review, I put Mon and Time as the second pair, which only shows how uninteresting the real second pair was to me. Nuea and Sun(ep.3&4). Bored to death. I don't like to watch series on fast forward and skipping, but I barely survived this story. This combination of actors didn't have chemistry for me even in Cutie pie, so the same goes for this series. Whoever pushes them doing it in the wrong way. Sun as a submissive ? Bitch, please!
Third pair (ep. 5&6), oh God, what can I say? Mon is like an angel, acting is not his strong point, but his sweetness helped me survive those strange faces he made. The chemistry he had with Team was good, but their story and the part with the prince made me vomit... plus Team was shit, but this is BL and everything seems to be forgiven.
Fourth pair (ep 7&8). These two have chemistry as two collaborators/friends. The fake medium and spirit was the fun part, everything else was uninteresting. As a loving couple, they had no chemistry. Everything was poorly explained, rushed and concluded because I don't think the screenwriter had the right vision of how to combine these two. But I understand , they were totally uninspiring.
We got to the fifth couple (ep. 9&10). These two had good chemistry, but let's be honest, the actor who plays Kaeng would have chemistry even with a refrigerator. The sexiness that comes out of his movements, the look that takes off all your clothes... hot as hell .The story was pointless, maybe if they had more episodes to see how that famous falling in love happened and what exactly attracted him to Puth, then maybe, but maybe everything would have made more sense. But, like this, only Kaeng and his - I'll fuck you all - attitude.
Sixth pair (ep 11&12). What on earth was that? A child trapped in an adult's body? This story is not exactly the epitome of originality, although I admit the animated part was cute. BUT!! I simply did not like this story at all. If there were no intimate scenes and if Choke first helped Sat to restore his memory, or to reverse the process, or if anything happened other than what they showed, I would certainly have something positive to say.. But unfortunately I have nothing nice to say, except that the story is creepy.
Seventh triangle (ep. 13&14). Who would normally agree to what Jia agreed ? Consciously - only someone with a psychiatric diagnosis. Imagine that you have a boyfriend, but in his heart and in his head you are always in second place. It's one thing when your rival is alive and you knock him down for love, but when your rival is dead, you have no chance, you will always be the other one. If someone saw this story as romantic, let them take Jia by the hand, direction - psychiatry. No matter how much we fool ourselves, nobody is that good. People should primarily love themselves, if you don't love yourself the most, of course you can't expect that from other people either.
Episode 15 is the biggest cringe, like at the Miss Universe pageant: -"And of course I want peace in the world!!" I won't comment on how they showed the "progress" of the couples because I would have to use a very large number of rude words and I'm a lady after all. In the end we have seven and a half couples, and no real love story to remember. We only have sexy Papi, and I guess that's something.
Would I recommend this series to anyone - No, unless you think you have an excess of brain cells and don't worry about a few million dying.
p.s. this 10 min special/extra. Why?? I'm just asking you why? We get it Dady doesn't trust Papi. Dady is insecure and a bit sleazy. We get it all, but again I have to ask why this extra? What's the point and message? Did you like what you did with that pathetic last episode so much, that you had to screw up this couple too?
I felt like Seonyul wants to keep him at the door, so incase he didn't get any other guy he can open the door…
Yes, it can be interpreted that way... but unfortunately we didn't see what was happening in the house, and how much progress certain couples had. What they showed Changyu flirting seems taken out of context. I don't see anyone but Seonyul being bothered. One more thing is completely unclear to me. Why didn't Seonyul sleep and who was Changmin's friend who did he mention. Because he says: "I was very annoyed with Chang-min's friend. I was also worried about what happened today."
When Changyu said he was sleepy I felt like he was about to cry. He's so adorable, he has honest eyes and I'm really sorry that the guys in the house can't see that. Maybe he doesn't have experience in flirting, so he goes overboard with some jokes that maybe some people can see as inappropriate, but I don't think he has any bad intentions. As for Seonyul and his explanation for rejecting Changyu, I think he was only partially honest...He seems to have the best intentions, but my opinion is that he should have made it clear. It's like when you break up with a guy and you say: it's not because of you, it's because of me, you're the best blah blah blah... but in fact you have no feelings for him.
I had NO idea this was a DeanPharm fanfic….. mind is blowin up right now. They should never been allowed to…
Maybe I didn't express myself well, but TO ME it looks like this is a UWMA fanfic. I didn't read anywhere that it was really a fanfic, I just wanted to say that the script looked like that to me because of all those cookies that Lukchup makes.
Why are we still watching this? Every time Praew bleats like a goat: Naaaaaaiiiin I get urge to fly to Thailand and slap her. But not as gently as Daonuen when he "hits" Nine, but as hard as Hulk Tee, who knocks Nine 2 meters away as if he were made of foam.
But why are you comparing the way he acts with strangers vs the way he acts with his friends tho?
Because there were clips on YT where he was a guest with people he was seeing for the first time, and his behavior was much more relaxed. Here in the house, we can say he shared a couple of meals with those guys, I guess he has enough years and experience (his words) to decide who he could talk to a little more, but no...he acts like an introvert even though YT Changmin is not.
Daonuea- I know, I don't know, I want, I don't, I like, I don't like... I honestly don't know how Nine and Tee fell in love with such a weak character.
Boat and Candy? Fiercely loyal friends, I just don't know to whom?
