"...blame something other than themselves tbh...." hmmmm
What exactly did you want to say? Imagine someone doesn't like how an actor played a role!! I know, I know, it's shocking that I write what I think and not what the majority thinks...
If you have read the novel you would have known that Sky doesn't cry because of his ex - when that guy hurt him,…
In ep 12, when Sky returns to the apartment, Pai holds a notebook/diary and reads everything Sky wrote about him. Sky had facial expression as if crying but not a single tear slid down that cheek. My impression is, simply, that the actor could not express that emotion. Because in my opinion, that should have been the most emotional scene, when Sky finally opens his soul. But, on MDL lately, when you write an impression, and you don't impose your opinion on anyone, immediately a bunch of comments appear to convince you how stupid you are and that their opinion is the only correct one, even though nobody asked them anything. In addition to that, it must go: "Oh, how many times do I have to repeat..." I understand that all those who have read the novel know how this story ends, and that they are waiting for that 13th episode where Sky will cry like rain years, but those same ones who know the ending like to write spoilers, impose their own conclusions and don't let others express their view of what is shown and what we see.

I'm glad that you enjoy his acting, but for me his acting is a straight line. Everyone talked about how they couldn't wait for the SkyPai story, but according to what was shown, the series could have ended with the 8th episode. Separate stories for no reason, irritating music that drowns out the dialogues, bad screenplay... it's not a series I would recommend to anyone...
If you have read the novel you would have known that Sky doesn't cry because of his ex - when that guy hurt him,…
@Nike_v and @Hanim Bakar I don't know which scene was the most emotional for you, but my comment refers to the scene when Pai reads Sky's diary. If my eyes are correct, Sky has a crying expression in that scene, but no tears have rolled down that cheek. So please, there's no need to tell me how Sky doesn't cry because of her ex, because we've all figured it out by now. The comment referred to the scene when Sky finally shed a tear because of Pai, and I guess that should have been the most memorable scene. But we didn't see that tear, not because of the script, not because of the ex, but because the actor couldn't express that emotion.
The actor who plays Sky in the most emotional scene of the 12th episode wouldn't be able to shed that tear even if it was the only condition to save humanity...it just shows how unprepared he was for this role...unfortunately bad acting is not the only problem here...

I would like to see Shun and Oh in some cute and relaxed series. I like the difference in height, and Oh has a very pleasant voice. Shun is all for cuddling, and his acting is at a decent level, so it's nice to watch him because you can see the difference when he transforms into a real sexy fox.

I see that Peterpan already has some projects planned and Noh has nothing for now (at least according to MDL), so I still hope that someone will propose a project where the two will show even better chemistry. As a fanfic and fiction writer, I really get pissed off when someone has a good acting couple and the script is a disaster. I feel sorry for the actors, because no matter how hard they try, everything is in vain, and then you can see that frustration on them too.

Legend say: when you have sex all the time, your skin glows. So... that about skin care still makes some sense, unlike the rest of the scenario 😂😂
Production team should have put a warning: buy 2kg of red apples and something for diarrhea before watching these last two episodes. Director obviously liked the amnesia thing soooooooo much, so it ended up being: "Rain and Phayu? I don't know them. " What a shame, what a missed opportunity to have another legendary BL couple.
Your response was extremely well written and agree with you on plot hasn't been moving from the starting point.…
After so many years at MDL, I got used to some things. But I have always been in favor of presenting an opinion with a few facts. That way we can always have a cultural discussion.
I understand your point of view, but I think it's overreacted. It's not just a school. It's a school with historical…
I understand what you want to say, but in the 21st century, these are topics that are talked about and discussed, I think it's a little unrealistic that no one reacts, considering that everything goes live. Maybe I expected a little more, considering that the trailer contained: a curse, eclipse, drama, intrigue.
I just found out that there was also a special episode, maybe if I had watched it I would seen the series in a different direction. Thank you for your reply.
you are in need of a media literacy class, that's all i have to say
That should have been your response (thanks for that, I'll look for that episode) instead of implying that I'm disparaging the work of queer filmmakers. You see, I'm not attacking you because you think they did a good job, so I guess you should also respect my opinion about the series. I'm glad that you found something in what they showed, I wish I did too, but apart from Khan and Thua, everything else I'm not impressed.
I think you should read a comment about Amsel89 posted below, from 8hrs ago, I think it explain a bit of an overall…
Thank you. Sometimes this kind of answer is a real refreshment.
But I also hope that people will accept when someone comments on the series based on what is shown, without some background story and attacks. As I said, I don't check directors and screenwriters, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, nationality... if I like something, I praise it, if I don't like something, I criticize it. Even among my comments, people shouldn't look for something that isn't there and attribute things to me that I didn't say. Is it an attack and belittling of the queer director if I say that the series is poorly done? I think not. That's just my opinion based on what I've seen. Once again, thank you for your answer and instructions on where to look.

I'm not angry, but I'm a little tired of people writing comments as if they're the smartest in the world, but they don't bother to explain anything. Nowhere at the beginning of this series does it say that the director did this to send a message, and I guess they don't expect us to first look at whether the director is queer or not, and then, based on that, start making decisions about what the series is like and whether it makes sense or not. If the series is bad, like this one, then for me as an ordinary viewer it means absolutely nothing whether this was filmed by a queer or a heterosexual director. And if this was supposed to be a tribute or support for some protest that happened in Thailand, I have to note that in the series that part was done very badly and it is an insult to the real people who went out on the street to protest.
you are in need of a media literacy class, that's all i have to say
Why? Because I live 8,000 km away from Thailand? Because a lot of things are happening in my country and I can swear that no one from Thailand would know to say anything about it? Because I watch BL Thai series, I should know what is happening in Thailand and understand each series as a message? Or sometimes the series is just that - a series, fiction. And a bad one at that. If you had carefully read what was written in my comment, you wouldn't be talking nonsense. Not everything has to be some hidden message and meaning. When you're so smart and media informed, it would be better if you wrote some comment that would teach us media-illiterate BL fans something. But I guess your goal is just to be "smart" with comments like this. That much from me.
When this series was announced, it was very interesting, but in the 10 episodes shown, they did not move from the starting point. I don't follow political events in Thailand, but if insiders say that the series has a message, I will take their word for it. That's why I'll just refer to the scenario. In one word, the scenario is - bad. Viewers still don't know what exactly a curse is. Does it apply to all rebels or only those who are homosexual? We see that the curse is something artificial, but what does the eclipse have to do with it? If the eclipse is a metaphor, then I can understand it, but if we are talking about a real eclipse, then it makes no sense. If the Supalo school is a metaphor for Thailand, then I say again, maybe I can understand the story, but since a lot of people don't follow these political events, for us ordinary viewers, the Supalo school is just that - a school. If we look only at the scenario, we can't help but wonder where are the parents of these children who are rebelling? Do only high school students have access to the Internet? Wouldn't someone complain to a parent? Are all parents in Thailand ready to support everyone except their children? There is also a story that some of the parents went to this school, does this mean that the parents turn a blind eye and knowingly send their children to be bullied? What is the criteria for enrolling in Supalo? It will remain a secret. That's why this series doesn't make any sense. Akk and Ayan's love story also makes no sense. Ayan's role is poorly written and performed. He came to investigate and expose some things, but he does absolutely nothing except chasing Akk.
Well... at one point last night rating was 7.4 and today almost 400 rated the first episode to raise the rating a bit... MDL is a strange place.. I'll just say, instead of money for the video, they could have give money for one more screenwriter to at least add something original... This scenario, where two straight characters reach out under the influence of drugs and suddenly fall in love, is soooooo boring. This is not a love/hate relationship, this is nonsense with blackmail, not very smart bodyguards, a very disgusting main character, and an unimaginative script. I don't know why they keep mentioning here that this is high production...this has been crap since the first episode. The cameraman is bad, editor is bad, and let's not lie, there are also parts where the actors are bad at acting...
I can't really understand what women see in Gyu min, but since tastes shouldn't be discussed, I'll just wonder if it's not enough for them to see how he behaves towards Hae Eun? Whenever has the chance, he hits on her confidence. A man who flirts with other women, and who has made it clear to HE that there can't be nothing between them, is giving a moral lecture. I can't remember now but it seems to me that he called HE in the show..why? That he mistreats her, humiliates her while she boosts his ego?
