Yess it absolutely does. It reminds me of ikemen desu ne. I believe the korean version was called you are beautiful. One of my first dramas from way back. The vibes and tropes are all screaming 2016. Possibly one of the reasons im so interested in it

You're entitled to your own opinion ofcourse but personally i enjoyed how lightly they took the romance in this. Sometimes we meet people in life and we love and we hurt and we change and we can also move on. Its doesn't need to be tragic. You can cherish them even if life has lead you down seperate paths. I loved the journey and I truly appreciated jbhs queen and how much they helped change each other's fates. Cheoljong wanted to be a real king and jbh helped him achieve that.

This drama kept me at the edge of my seat in every episode. It's been so so long since ve a drama has done that for me. Really enjoyed it. It was a plus that there was no romance, there's romance in everything and often becomes the main story. The bromance between the 2 leads though? Amazing.

Lee gon could be alive but how did Lee lim fake his death. It would really turn the tables if Lee lim used the Korean Lee gon to replace the king when he attempts to take over the throne. In fact this would be the main reason he would keep the child alive.
