I didn't cry during the scenes where TSJ found YX, he looked so stiff, the camera was not shooting at his face, and I was unable to see the emotions, I had to rely mainly on the dialog to try to feel the sadness. They did a better job capturing CX and XL emotions, the camera zoomed right at them.

For me I don't think they lack chemistry. It's just not as strong compared to the other two ML. It's subjective, I think it's okay for people to expressed their opinion. Maybe people are bringing it up now because maybe they don't feel the chemistry. And some is going wild. People will see and feel it differently. For me feel the far distance look and hand touching has more chemistry than the actual kissing. Even the under water kiss was meh!

I have not read the novel, but I understand the drama, they did a pretty good job displaying each characters and why they behave they way they behave! The consistancy of the character is one of the main key on why this drama is great! Although a love story, not everyoen is focus on love! They all have their own trauma, ambitions , their behaviors and actions make sense for their characters. We still in the begining of the story, we haven't seen how the story will developed, peopel can change for the better or for the worst, how bland would this story be if everyone is nice.
