Yes. I like that she focus on quality recently. I'm sure she has huge role in choosing LGX. It id a smart move since there is a massive XingYue CP fans, and it will give closure to their tragic ending. Have never seen LGX be so emotional regarding wrapping a drama. He actually cried in the wrap video. So yes, we are all anticipating this drama and their reunion.

You have never seen any of LGX dramas, how do you know hes not charismatic? The Blue Whisper unfortunately was a hot mess, since the drama failed the novel a d some essential of the drama did not make sense. RJL is a popular actor but he fails to captivate m attention. There was so many rejection of the casting of Fairy and Devil, once it came out it made people eat their words. Like I mentioned, the production team is not able to please everyone's imagination. We can only watch the drama and then judge. This adaption will be special since it's ZLY first time being producer, the story telling.. And we can see the visual already set apart from the usually XianXia. It is nice for the audience to be offered something different. This drama is not targeting the teenie boppers and early 20's. ZlY mentioned herself its for the more older audience with more mature backdrop.

It's also nice to see other actors take this genre instead of the same, same. Casting choices maybe not for everyone, but I'm sure there are other dramas that will delight your pickling needs.

Many of us read the novel. Most of us like the casting choice. Unfortunately each drama adaptations can't satisfy everyone.

I hope they don't play those cheesy tango/jazzy music like they did in my Heroric husband, it might work for that drama since there is time travel. Not so much for this genre. Anyhow, looking forward to this drama, the story is more mature than the usual XianXia, good choice for ZLY, thank goodness shes not playing a young fairy /maiden. I don't want to expect much, the wrapping vid did give me lots of hopes. Crossing fingers for a good drama!

Finished the novel a few weeks ago, Lin Gengxin in my opinion is perfect for this role. I enjoyed him in princess agents, Scarlett heart, Master of my own, his characters are interesting and he did very well! Didn't watch the bargaining queen, is he selfish there? Hah. Why do peope come to a drama page seeing the cast that they know they don't like/interested in, and find a need to give it a negative comment before even watching it.

At first people where not happy with Dylan's Wang selection to be in the Love between Fair and devil, from his looks and his previous work, they judged him. Look how he shut them up. Honestly Don't think LGX is old , hw is so handsome, from the novel he is an ancient god, I always picture him more mature the young boys. I am looking forward to see LGX take on this role, not only he is handsom, he can act!. Anyways to each their own. If you already come in with a bias it will be hard to enjoy the drama. Better just stick with you imagination of the novel. The other drama's with this author's novel is adapated with a younger cast perhaps you will enjoy the cast better.
