The last comedy C-drama I really enjoyed also starred Li Landi, The Starry Love. It was one of the funniest dramas I've seen! Actually, I became a fan of hers because of The Starry Love! In my opinion, she is one of the best actresses in her age group! Like Tan Jian Ci, she is not typecast and has taken on so many different roles and genres so far! Part of the reason why I had to check out this drama was for both of them! I'm so happy I did!

I'm so glad that I finally found another drama to look forward to! It's been a while since I got this invested in a C-drama. I did like Flourished Peony this year, but I wasn't looking forward to each episode like I am with this one! Tencent needs to up their promotion for this drama!

The trailer looked silly and cheesy, so I wasn't expecting much from it. I thought I’d just skim through it for the leads. WOW, was I wrong! Filter is such a pleasant surprise! Tan Jian Ci and Li Landi can do comedy well! This genre is hard to pull off, but the leads and cast are nailing it! I find myself eagerly looking forward to each episode! This is one unique story!

Merging my answers with the comment below as well. Like I said, every character here has been watered down, their relationships and so forth. Every one of them! Lines switch and changes. And I don't know who Plor is or what you are talking about. Why are you asking me? Go ask them

The essence of Jing, being smart, supportive, and kind to the end is projected through the drama. Every character in this drama is watered down, especially CX! Important scenes with XL were also cut. In my opinion, the production team catered more to Yao Jing and gave them more romantic time. Complaining that Deng Wei had to work for his shot floating in cold water is unreasonable. What did they expect him to do for these scenes? Just Photoshop him in or use CGI? How many angles and minutes do they need to see him floating in the water? Did they want to see him play do water Olympic sport to be satisfied? All actors in this show and others have to put in work and effort for their scenes! In reality, not everything will make the final cut.

The wedding snatching scene was great! I wished there were more fighting 😂

XL is a fan fav, obviously they will try to squeeze him in. It's a nice break from the depression arc of XY and CX. It's 23 eps obviously they are going to chop off scenes! What scenes is missing that is so important?

People probably stop watching because they knew Yao will end up with TSJ.

He had so much screen time in a season two! And it dose show what he dose on screen, usually he gives the idea, and let people do the work. So what can you really see?
