It's weird, I never shipped a character that just shows up briefly with the FL. I don't know why but I feel the brief moments together is more fulfilling to watch than lovely dovey romance and brother scenes.

Tsj did make a deal with Ffb to snatch the bride, but he never came up with the idea how. It was XL who made it so extreme that no one would dare to put XY in a political marriage.

YX wouldn't be able to choose XL, he stop giving her the opportunity to choose him. So she is only left with Jing as a choice, to late for FL! Jing didn't give her a chance to fall in love with FL, what if they had married and she slowly falls for him. Haha you know like the other Cdramas where the FL marries into politics and they eventually fall for each other.

Have you ever thought, perhaps he did suggested/ try to improvised his own scenes, but the director didn't like the idea. These BTS probably not shown to save face? The Forrest fire scenes and the BTS doesn't change my impression on his acting 🤷.

No matter who plays Jing, I would not care for this character. I zoomed through his part. Personally DW charisma and acting doesn't do much for me either. He always looks like he is holding in a big one when he is suspicious, surprised or trying to hold his anger.

Jing in season 2 so far .. Coming out of the corner spying on XY, spitting blood and looking confuses and shock! Even if he knew what was happening! The time line seems so slow, why is it taking him so long to investigate his baby daddy/momma issues?
